Welcome to your modern 1 bedroom couples retreat, renovated in 2025 with boho flair. Nestled on a serene, controlled-access, private island with an ocean view and pool view right front the balcony. This vacation spot is perfect for seasoned couples and solo travelers looking to relax, unwind and slow down from the daily grind.

Cutting through the noise, here’s what you can expect:

- Distance from SJU Airport: 35 miles (~ 50 minutes)

Public: Street parking at your own discretion

Transportation:
Complimentary for residents and guests at Puerto Real. Which is right in front of the private parking lot.

Ferry operates from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM in 30-minute intervals.
- The Ferry ride takes only 8-10 minutes from point A to point B
- At 00:00 and 00:30, it transports passengers from Casa Isleta to Puerto Real.
- At 00:15 and 00:45, it transports passengers from Puerto Real to Casa Isleta.
- Please allow a reasonable schedule margin of error depending on weather and sea-level
- Last Ferry sails at 10:15pm for the night, and starts the next day at 6:30am

Honesty is the best policy:
Keep in mind the Ferry may add another 15-20 mins to your day trips depending on your timing to hit the port. But hey! You would be staying in a condo at a private island right in front of a marina. All part of the unique experience.

Is the property convenient to stay in for a day trip to Laguna Grande (Bio Bay)?
Totally! Both Laguna Grande and Casa Isleta are located in Fajardo town. From Casa Isleta to Laguna Grande it’s approximately 5 miles (~ 15 minutes)

What about el Yunque?
Same thing! It’s 12.5 miles (~ 35 minutes) from Fajardo to Rio Grande which is where el Yunque is located. Rio Grande is another small town pretty close to Fajardo.

Ivan is a great host, thoughtful, and friendly. The unit was quiet, well furnished, the bed was great, and we enjoyed the pool and the fresh ocean breeze.

Private Paradise

If you are looking for a place with a view this tiny island is what you are looking for. It is super quiet and you will find no place that feels more safe this these condos.This condo is managed by Ivan who was super responsive to any issues that came up. Not only is he your host, he gave excellent suggestions for our adventures Can’t thank him enough!!! The condo itself is modern and clean. It is small but has all you need. Ivan had stocked it with great coffee, a couple beers and water for our arrival. Know that you are on an island only accessible by the private ferry. It can be found across the street from the paid parking lot (where you will park for 5.60 for the day or every time you leave). Note the ferry only can transport 6 people at a time-usually not an issue. You will want a rental car as public transportation is not easily accessible. I suggest you checking in and grabbing the wagon Ivan provides you to run to the local grocery store for supplies as there is a restaurant that is open only a few days on the island (none during the time we were there - so we didn’t get to check it out).You have two pools that have limited pool loungers but unlike big properties, you don’t have to worry about “saving” your chair. Most days we were the only ones at the pool.Enjoy the experience!

Unexpected satisfaction

The Isleta condo was only accessible via a 15 min ferry ride that became a matter of routine and ultimately a pleasant meditative experience. You never got used to the natural beauty of the sea view. The complex was well maintained and the quarters were pristine and safe. Ivan, the host was always available to provide assistance in whatever capacity that was needed.
