Nice stay, but can use some work.
The property itself was in a great location and looked very nice, but unfortunately our stay came with a number of frustrating issues.First, there were no check-in instructions provided, so we had no idea how to access the property when we arrived. We had to wait in the driveway until the host responded, which was not a great start. Once inside, we found a large puddle of water in the middle of the kitchen floor, which appeared to be from a leak. The host did send contractors the next day, and that issue seemed to be resolved.However, throughout the stay we heard intermittent loud noises (especially in the master bedroom) that we couldn't identify — possibly from the roof or outside.Another issue was the towels. Some had visible black stains and marks, and when I reached out to the host requesting clean replacements, I was told they would check with the cleaning team — but we never heard back. With limited usable towels, one of us resorted to using the provided beach towels, only to find them absolutely covered in hair. We reached out again for help, but received no response until the day before checkout, when we were reminded of the checkout rules (ignoring our concern with the towels).The host was responsive initially, but communication dropped off when we needed assistance the most. While the house has potential and the location was convenient, the overall experience was not the best. However we tried to make it work.
