There is is no ocean views from this hotel. Facilities ard very limited. This could be a very posh hotel but they just dont havd it together.
The location is across a big highway and other hotels from the beach. We never went, there is a walking bridge, elevators do noy work. Very noisy. Very. Pool music and traffic. I swear i thought the windows were open.
Staff speak limited English, expect that in all of San Juan.
We didnt get our room cleaned the 3 days we were there. Had to constantly ask for towels as they were very stingy with them. No washcloths. Other little things...no food or beverages available except from $$$ restaurant. Nothing after hours. We got 1 flat and 1 sparkling water for the two of us for 3 nights. Sorry not using tap water to make in room coffee. So, never tried coffee. Also never tried continental breakfast.
There is a very good coffee place next door and popular cafe/ bakery a few doors down.
Now. The worst. The whole place is tiled, wet and slippery.
I fell getting in pool which has no handrails or other safety features. I bruised my leg and injured my shoulder.
My friend notified tge desk staff as soon as i was able to call her in the room.( my phone still worked though i had to search for it at the bottom. Of the pool. Crossing fingers it keeps working)
Anyway. She " offered anything she can do" but didn't even have a tylenol. She was sweet but limited enlish and had no idea what to do or no sense of urgency. Never heard from mgr.
