The space
Step into a piece of San Jose history in this beautifully remodeled guest suite within a Spanish bungalow officially designated a Structure of Merit. Set in the heart of downtown, it blends timeless character with modern comfort; and adds a private furnished patio for coffee at sunrise or a glass of wine at dusk. Parking: one guaranteed car space per reservation in the shared lot. Please do not block the sidewalk or another vehicle. Public accessible parking is separate and is only for eligible vehicles under posted rules.

Self check-in is via a smart lock. Follow your check-in message through the center gate to your suite, then enter your generated door code. Check-in is from 3 PM and checkout is by 11 AM. Your check-in instructions are sent before arrival. For same-day bookings, message us if they have not arrived.

Security: Exterior cameras operate 24/7 for your safety. Make sure your guest count is accurate, and let us know through the Vrbo app if anything changes.

Heat and AC are preset and shared by the whole house, so there's no thermostat in your room. If you'd like it warmer or cooler, message us and we'll adjust it as long as it stays comfortable for the other guests.

Other things to note
For our pet owners, please bring your pets for a walk instead of potty in the courtyard. The pee will kills the plants’ roots, we also don’t want to have other guests accidentally step into the poop. To be a good neighbor, please pick up after them whenever they go.

Please keep in mind, we are located on a busy commercial area within walking distance to San Jose University, so there are potential noises due to lots of foot / car traffic.
