"The property is a 5-6 minute walk to downtown so easy access to shops, bars and restaurants. This includes Maya Walk so getting there for caving and ruins tours was easy. Far enough away to avoid the noise. Host was responsive. It was a little confusing to get the TV to work so i could watch the Super Bowl but we eventually got there. No regrets. "

"We had a wonderful stay in San Ignacio at the Babette House. The house and the grounds were beautiful and clean and had all the amenities except access to washer and dryer. "Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. "Large 3 bedroom rental. AC units in each bedroom, no AC in living room and kitchen area. Some seasonings and supplies in the kitchen and water jug provided. AC in master bed made loud, irregular noises. Constant barling dogs and crowing rooster made sleep elusive. Beds are very hard. Shower fixtures are aged and one is an electrically heated shower head. There are stores and restaurants nearby. Market area on Burns st is a 20min walk. Taxi or car is preferred. Taxi is 10-20BZD. "
