Stunning filtered views of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Montara State Mountain, Montara Beach and the Pacifica Ocean. Please note: Scenery may change according to the seasons. Between the Montara Mountains and Montara State Beach there is over 10,000 acres of open space to roam around this secluded private beach house. Everything in Montara is within walking or biking distance. Wake up to the fresh ocean air and sight and sounds of the Pacific Ocean roaring in the background. Experience the awe-inspiring views of the sun rise over the majestic mountains filled with coastal cypress and rare grasslands. Watch the sunset in Silicon Valley's own hidden paradise. Guest will enjoy the privacy of being the only residence on the premises, situated on an oversized lot.

Our cleaners have expert-backed training on disinfecting, PPE, and current cleaning protocols. The property has received a cleaning certificate and I.D. which provides guests with verification that our properties are up to date on critical cleaning method guidelines from WHO, CDC, OSHA, and the FDA. #p1p211dh.

    PETS: Pets are not allowed on the property without prior approval. Pets absolutely cannot be left unattended at the property. Pet fees and deposits may be required. Breaking this rule will result in immediate eviction.

A cozy, sheltered home base with all the basics

My daughter and I stayed here over spring break. This place was a great value. It served as a nice home base at the end of each day of sightseeing up and down the coast. It's an older building, with mostly updated finishings. The kitchen has all the basics, older but mostly functional (sharp knives not withstanding).

Great location a block from the State beach and a trailhead for hiking and biking with beautiful ocean views. The house is lovely, and quiet with a huge yard and it was great to be able to have my dog with me. Would love to come back again.

The studio was a great get away when th a beautiful view, clean living arrangements and comfortable bed. The fenced yard was quite large and doesn’t appear in pictures. Great trip.

Great, easy getaway

The spot, while humble from the outside is just perfect for two to enjoy Montara and the surrounding area. The inside is clean, bright and airy with a surprisingly well appointed kitchen. Nice view of the ocean and mountains too.

I listened to the ocean

I loved being in earshot of the ocean, easy walking distance to the beach. It's not a fancy house--one big rooms, windows stick when you try to open them, basic yard landscaping. For a writing retreat like I was on, though, it was perfect.

Cozy & Quiet

Cozy and comfortable with everything you need, including a view of the ocean! Close to all of the good dining spots and hiking trails. We were there during the most recent storm, lost power most of Saturday night, sat in the dark with cell phone light because there were no candles. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a coastal getaway!

The inside was clean. Needs windows

It was a Perdect studio for my daughter and our dogs, however it needs new windows badly they rattle all night with drafts and the exterior needs some TLC. Great neighborhood and location, great communication and easy check in and check out had all supplies you need to stay. Thank you

Montara

Apartment is as described. Good location. One large room. Fine for what we needed for our weekend stay near our family. Only improvement request would be for somewhere to put our clothes so we could get out of our suitcases. And the bedside table lamp was not functional so couldn’t read in bed. But Montara is a cool coastal town with lots to do nearby.
