I booked two rooms which were through Hotiday. I didn’t realise this was an intermediary company.
On arriving at the hotel after a four hour drive, the receptionist said there were not two rooms booked under my name, despite me showing her the reservation. She suggested I go away and contact Hotiday. Despite working with this company she said she did not have their contact details.
She was incredibly unhelpful and finally, after about ten minutes of back and forth, she realised that the second room was booked under my son’s name. Her whole demeanour was rude and unhelpful and went to no lengths to try and proactively resolve the issue or help me.
The room itself was ok but had no coffee nor instructions that you could order coffee from reception.
The hotel had work being carried out and was very empty. A nice large pool but the handy man asked my partner to fish out rubbish from the bottom of the pool which looked like a sanitary product.
I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, largely due to the very poor and unhelpful welcome from the receptionist
