The Perfect Beach House


A Classic Beach House...everything you imagine a beach house should be...the perfect place for your family holiday. It has been professionally decorated in a beautiful and comfortable Nantucket Style. Steps from the Sand/2 ocean side decks/great ocean views from main living area and master bedroom...all the views and the privacy! Relax in bed and watch the waves! This is A Single Family 2 story Home!

Large first floor deck with picnic table/adirondack chairs and large gas grill. The upstairs deck is off of the master bedroom...the best place to relax with a book and watch the waves or eat a quiet dinner. The first floor has updated flooring and a modernized open floor plan, and the upstairs has a vaulted ceiling. There are 2 large bathrooms...one on each floor. The perfect large galley kitchen with a deep sink and updated countertops. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for entertaining inside and out.

An upstairs landing that has a comfortable desk and wireless Internet (for those who have to stay in touch with the office). A bright, beautiful and very well maintained home. We have had several families return multiple times over the last 25 years. You can relax in bed and enjoy the view and sound of the ocean. It is located on a nice court in North Mission beach and a comfortable walk to Crystal Pier and Belmont Park. Two blocks away from the bay where you can rent surf boards, paddles boards, jet skiis, kayaks, sail boats, and even floating hot tubs for cruising the bay (yes it's true!) at the Santa Clara Pt. Sportscenter.

Kate was a most gracious host in every communication. We loved the patios and being 20 steps from the boardwalk. It was a great place to walk, relax, and see beautiful ocean views and sunsets. There were several good restaurants and local coffee shops within walking distance. We were a 15 minute drive from the airport, MCRD, Balboa Park, and Old Town. We had a fabulous stay, and I'd book it again in a heartbeat!

We love our annual beach trip to the Perfect Beach House! The house is always so clean and the area is perfect! They are welcoming to fur-babies! The patio is always the place to hangout, bbq, play board games and enjoy the boardwalk/ocean. The Property Manager, Katie, is always the best host, she’s friendly and promptly responds to any questions. We highly recommend this home for your next getaway!

Best little cottage

We stayed here back in 2012 with our two young children and with since larger family haven’t been able to stay. But we recently stayed with just myself, 12 year old and 16 year old and we still love it! Love that is was all one house and your one private patio and balcony which are both good sizes! The house is immaculate and has everything you need! The outdoor shower behind one of the gates has hot and cold water which is nice coming off the beach!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful beach house! From the moment we arrived, we knew we picked the perfect place for our vacation. The decks were a dream—especially the top one, which gave us the perfect spot to watch the ocean, enjoy the breeze, and even do a little people-watching. It was the best of both worlds! The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beach, which made it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day. We also really appreciated how close we were to great restaurants, though the house was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals too. The house itself was super comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Having air conditioning was a huge plus, especially after a day in the sun. And every evening, we made sure to catch the sunset—it was absolutely magical from the deck. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and scenic beach escape.

Fabulous place, location location location

We had a wonderful time at this home. The outdoor decks were wonderful and you are right on the beach. Very pretty inside. The communication with the owner/manager was so fantastic. We would stay here again.

A nice long get away

We have stayed at this property several times before and we love it that is why we keep coming back. The beach house is perfect. There is plenty of cooking supplies. They keep the beach house maintained so you have great A/C, microwave, dishwasher and all bathrooms are in great working order. Great water pressure and the beds are comfortable. Every night I left sliding glass door open in primary bedroom to hear the ocean. We slept great!!! The porch is my absolute favorite place. I sat out every day looking at ocean and had a glass of wine with a good book. There is so much to do in San Diego that I have to keep coming back so I can see it all. I love all the places to eat too. My new favorite restaurant is called Moe’s and it’s about 900 feet from beach house. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beach house. Best place ever!!!
