  • Welcome to Mermaid House, our thoughtfully curated Mission Beach home. Our home is located steps from Mission Bay and a few minutes walk to Mission Beach. This house features three stories. The first story is comprised of an outdoor patio, kitchen, dining table and two car garage along with a half bath. The Second story features a patio, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The third story is comprised of a spacious living area along with an outdoor deck featuring ocean and bay views.

Great time in a great place!

The family had a great time in a terrific location! The house is clean and the owner went out of their way to insure we had a great stay. Top notch experience and will do it again soon!!

Highly recommend!

Entire process from booking, checking in, and checking out was seamless. Host was very friendly and added personal touches to make my visit feel extra special. The place is in a perfect location, great ammenities, and has more than enough room inside. I especially loved the upstairs rooftop. I’d definitely stay here again in a future trip.

House is in a nice location. Walking to coffee, bay, beach, store, and we enjoyed a local pizza spot. Spent most of the time on the roof top and patio. The inside was quite small. There is no living room. Kids enjoyed hanging out in the 3rd floor loft area.There wasn’t much hot water for showers and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t good. The futons were not very comfortable for sleeping so if u need extra sleeping space aside from the bedrooms. I would take some air mattresses.The A/C worked well to keep the second and third level cool but it can get stuffy on the first level. Would leave the patio door open to let in fresh air.We stayed just for the weekend and overall had a nice time.

Beach Palace Perfect Location

Great beach place. Bay on one side (literally 100 steps away) and the great wide Pacific on the other side just a little further but a couple minutes walk. Tons of stores, restaurants and fun places to visit and well located for all the attractions that San Diego has to offer. Can’t say enough about how comfy and clean the place is and you have the whole house to yourself. The rooftop patio is the bomb, (be careful with the sun-it doesn’t get too hot here, so it is easy to get burned-ask my grand daughters :-)). Loved it and had a wonderful time. Thanks Chris for allowing us to visit your Beach Palace. We had a great time.

Nicely remodeled but small and expensive

Very clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. The tvs weren’t plugged in or set up and silverware was still in wrapper. For beach access it’s great but the neighborhood is a little sketchy at night. It’s 3 levels but each one is very small. I wouldn’t want to live there full time and I think it’s expensive relative to other places in nicer areas. Overall was nice experience.
