You will instantly feel the aura of good fortune when you enter our vibrant and spacious, Serendipity, at Capri by the Sea!

Located on the 9th floor with sweeping, stunning ocean views from the living space, this recently remodeled condo has new cabinets and quartz countertops with a "waterfall" effect spilling the quartz over the side of the counter. There are also all new stainless steel appliances.

The bathroom has a new tub/shower combination with dual function shower head/hand held spray, with beautifully tiled walls, and a new cabinet with quartz top. Check out the innovative, LED smart, dimmable, frameless mirror! Adjust for just the right lighting. Ample storage in the vanity.

The bedroom has two queen size beds, a ceiling fan and plenty of storage in the wicker dresser, and large, mirrored closet. The option to reserve a portable a/c unit is available and would extend through the bedroom window. Please contact us in advance to reserve one in our inventory. The unit requires a set up fee and daily usage fee to reserve.

Inside the hallway utility closet, you will find cleaning equipment and beach accessories such as, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrella and sand toys.

Throughout the condo is all new Pergo-style "driftwood" flooring, mirrored walls, an electric "mood" fireplace that also provides heat on the South wall, a large smart TV, and a ceiling fan. If you need additional sleeping space, we have provided an option with the sofa to be set up for a 5th guest. The couch converts to a bed, but then must be rearranged again to return to couch "mode." There are all new modern and minimalist furnishings throughout.

This condo features floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room to maximize the breathtaking views of the ocean, recently replaced with all glass railings for an uninterrupted view of the Pacific Ocean! Utilize this condo's pulley light-filtering blinds to keep the space cool while you are out enjoying the day.

​​​​​​​You will love your stay in this conveniently located condo in the heart of Pacific Beach. It is within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops and just steps to the sun and sand! The kitchen is fully equipped for dining at home with seating for 4-6 at the table and 2 more at the breakfast bar with a spectacular ocean view! The condo sleeps 4 very comfortably or 5 guests in each single sleeping arrangement.


NEED MORE ROOM? If you would like to travel with extended family or other families, we have 1-bedrooms and 2- bedrooms in this building; three in a row on the 9th floor, 909, 910 and 911 plus 1005, 1007 and 1010 right above them. We also have 512!

Capri by the Sea offers every amenity you could want and need for your stay in San Diego. A single parking space is included with your reservation. The rooftop offers 360 views of Pacific Beach, with BBQ grills and picnic tables and lounge seating. A heated (80 degrees) pool and hot tub are located on the ground floor behind the Capri building and are accessible with your key fob. A washer and dryer (coin-operated) are located at the South end of the hallway just outside the condo. A trash and recycling chute is located on the North end. Your key fob gives access to that condo's floor, lobby, rooftop, garage and pool area. Check-in instructions sent via email will provide more details about how to obtain your keys/lock code and fobs.

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

It is important for you to read all the details about your property. *NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about our home!

Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules & Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.

Attention Guests: In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. Please contact us with any questions.

THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

Single (free) covered parking spot in underground garage with additional outside parking spots available on a first come first served basis for an additional $15 per day(Please inquire at front desk if additional parking is needed).
Guests have access to rooftop deck with multiple gas BBQs, seating and lounge chairs. There is a communal pool and hot tub located next door that can be accessed by the key fob.

Customer service is a high priority to us. We like to make sure you have what you need before you arrive and get settled into our home. We are available whenever you need us, 7 days a week and after hours!

Included covered parking spot in underground garage with additional outside parking spots available on a first come first served basis for an additional weekly rate. (Please inquire at the Capri front desk if additional parking is needed)

Please note: The look-out terraces at the Capri are NOT for standing or sitting. DO NOT lean on the railings. Capri by the Sea has asked for our cooperation in their new safety proceedings. The incredible views of the beach, boardwalk and ocean are not affected!

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.
Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

Nightly Minimum Policy:
2-4 night minimum required in the off season. 

☀️ Holidays: 
5 night minimum. There are no arrivals on Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.

☀️ Summer: 
Memorial Day - Labor Day, 5 night minimum. No arrivals on Independence Day (July 4).

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy. 

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest’s face and holding either a Driver’s License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

The location amazing to restaurants, shopping and most important the amazing beach! This is the perfect place to stay in the area with private place to park, pool and private area to hose off sand before entering bldg. It was an awesome experience... the area also felt safe to walk in the evening.

Fantastic, clean place overlooking and excellent and clean beach. Really appreciated the beach and pool supplies provided (sand toys, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, pool noodles, small inner tube floats, and towels). Nice outdoor shower with warm water to rinse off sand. Beach was great for kids (waves not too big, shallow for a ways out). Had some good restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, comfortable room! The view is amazing!! Great supply of beach/pool accessories that were in good shape. Wonderful location. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Only issues are that the sofa was not very comfortable and we found that one of the beds in the room was a bit hard for our taste. However, I would highly recommend this property.

Always enjoy staying at the Capri! The location and view is amazing. But, someone in a nearby unit was smoking. This is an issue because, we like to keep the sliding door open for our entire stay. The only other thing, was that the tv in the bedroom wouldn’t connect to any WiFi. I like to fall asleep with the tv on. I had to use my personal hotspot, that was until I used all I could and the speed slowed. I don’t think I will stay in this unit again, for fear that the smoker is an owner and would possibly be there when I visit SD again.

This property was everything we were expecting and more. It was very clean, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The check in and check out process was very easy, and I appreciated the thorough process when we booked. It gave me a lot of reassurance about the property and rental company. My son loved trying the boogie board on the beach, and we loved the pool, and watching the sunset and surfers from the living room! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other families.

Great Ocean Front View!

Love the Capri and often stay there while visiting San Diego. I’ve used different rental agencies. This agency had clear and concise directions and when I communicated with them, they were friendly and timely. They offered a nice discount on an extra night which worked out nicely. Thanks! About the room, it was super clean, exactly as pictured. Lots of amenities including beach chairs, towels, toys. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely rent this unit from this Nancy’s rentals again. Thanks!

Great Beach Location

We stayed over July 4th. The property was a perfect place to go to the beach. Easy access, the unit came with chairs, umbrella and all the beach gear needed. The beach was only crowded on July 4th but we were still able to find a great spot and we’re not crowded in on. Plenty of dinning options close by. The unit itself was just as described. Very clean with the exception of the shower drain needed to be cleaned out. All basic amenities were included and an ample supply. The only thing I didn’t think of was coffee. I’ve always had that supplied when staying at a VRBO. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 is no grace on early check in. Our flight got us in early and even after a long lunch we still had an hour to kill before check in. When I called we were told we could check in at the 3 but would be charged $20 plus tax. I would think as a courtesy if the unit was cleaned and unoccupied you would allow this. I would definitely stay again.

Great Location

Listing as described. Location was excellent. Very secure. Only tip would be to rent the AC unit if temperature high is greater than 75. It was warm and leaving windows and door open allowed for marijuana smell from the beach and the breezeway to entire the condo. Would def rent again.

Great place to stay for a beach getaway!

The location of this property is impeccable and the views from the 9th floor of the ocean are amazing! Overall the condo was clean and cozy but it did have a few quirks. The bed linens were not as expected from the listing photographs, when we arrived the white comforters were covered with outdated and dingy quilts that I had to remove immediately. There was also a touch of black mold in the bedroom window sill, unfortunately this is not uncommon for the area and because of that alone I did not find the condition unacceptable. There is no AC in this unit but we had no problem keeping the place cool with the balcony door open and the fans on. There was a central heating unit in the condo that we had a difficult time keeping “off” which would have been preferable as it makes a loud and unpleasant noise when the fan is running, that drowns out the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. These are the reasons my rating was 4 stars instead of 5, but I would definitely stay here again as long as the price is reasonable.

My husband, daughter and I had a great Stay Nancy’s Vacation Rental. Condo was very clean and was well stocked with everything we needed; plenty of towels, dishes, coffee maker etc. Location of condo is great, we were very happy to be in North Pacific Beach over Mission Beach. Mission beech and Balboa park rides are a 2 mile walk which is fun to go to see all the condos along the beach. We did it at night, took about 40 minutes had dinner at Cannonball and took a $9 Uber back to condo. Honestly we found more restraunts and shops closer to our condo than in mission beach. It’s a bit quieter which we liked. My daughter and husband took a surf lesson from Wavehuggers (instructor Cady) and she was awesome. Best thing is it was right up beach, walkable from condo. All in all, amazing condo with spectacular view. Would definitely stay here again.
