LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Newly renovated BEACHFRONT Duplex cottage B just steps from Ocean Beach. This rare 1/1 beach cottage is just steps away from all Ocean Beach has to offer: dog beach, surfing, swimming and some of the best local shopping and dining experiences. The freshly remodeled 1950's styled beach cottage was designed to embrace the classic nature of the historic building. It is equipped with all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable: outdoor BBQ (shared), Smart TV, one on-site parking spot and some beach day essentials found in your personal storage unit. The cottage has two murphy beds in addition to the standard bed to accommodate up to 5 guests total, and a westward facing outdoor patio for dining by the ocean. For larger groups, we also have a matching 2/1 sister cottage unit A (sleeps 6+) next door that can be booked in concert.

Everything was clean and simple. There was a big clean refrigerator and in addition to the main bed there were two Murphy beds. The floors were easy to clean and sweep after our two small dogs tracked in sand. The proximity to dog beach can't be beat. It's the perfect place for a small family like ours or a couple wanting to relax near the beach.

Just a couple of hiccups the breakers were off but overall was very nice day we really enjoyed ourselves but your Wi-Fi keeps going in and out all in all really nice need to put a repeater in for the Wi-Fi but it was very pleasant very clean we enjoyed it very much thank you

Close to the beach

Very comfortable and cozy and clean .kitchen has everything you need to cook a good meal . Great food is also just a walk away highly recommend Benedict’s at the corner for breakfast. Enjoyed our stay here easy check-in and out.

Great place if you have dogs

It's a great rental and location if you have dogs. There's plenty of grass area for dogs to run, and do their business. The inside of the unit is clean, and has everthing you need to cook a meal. It has a large refrigerator, and produces ice like a comercial ice machine. The decor and atmosphere inside is very clean, but lacks some decent drapes to close, and are non existent on many of the windows. The bathroom is tiny, with no counter space, and there is very little water pressure in the tub/shower. The bed is a European King and very comfortable, but does not have a fitted sheet, just a flat sheet, which tended to leave you sleeping on the mattress if you move in your sleep. We didn't use the murphy beds. It has a nice little patio with a picnic bench, and a small bartop with barstools that look out over the large grass area. All in all it's a decent place to stay. Theres a large burm of sand at the waters edge, so you cant see the water from the unit, but its a very short walk over the burm to the water. They need to trim the low hedges on the path from the unit to the grass area, because its only about a foot wide, and the branches scrape your legs. My biggest complaint is the commercial jets taking off directly over the duplex every few minutes starting at 6am until 10pm. The price of the rental is reasonable to be right on the beach. All in all, we had a nice stay, and the dogs loved it!

What a lovely place!

The house was even better than the pictures. It had everything we needed, and Susan was quick to help with a couple extra needed kitchen items. The proximity to Dog beach and Ocean beach was awesome! The look, feel, and comfort of the place was so worth the price. We loved it!
