Location! Location! Less than 20 steps to the beach! Ideally located a short walking distance from restaurants, bars and great shopping in Pacific and Mission Beach. The bay is conveniently located just across the street where the Catamaran Resort, Bahia Belle and available rentals (bike, scooters, boat, boards etc). In addition to the beach you are just a 5 minute drive to Seaworld, 10 minutes to La jolla/Torrey PInes, and 15 minutes to downtown Gaslamp district, Petco Park, Convention Center and Balboa Park and San Diego Zoo.

First Floor includes the master bedroom with Cal-King bed, private bath, 40” Smart Flat screen TV and direct access to the patio.
Second floor is spacious with complete living and visiting space. The kitchen consists of a fully-equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, full pantry, and a dining table for 8 guests. There is a full bathroom and a living room with a queen sleeper sectional, and a 65-inch flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors that open to a large private covered deck perfect anytime of day.
3rd floor includes two more bedrooms and a full bathroom with tub. The front bedroom with a Cal-King bed has 40" TV with a large ocean view balcony. The third bedroom has a full/double bed that include a trundle and a twin bed and 32" TV.
The front patio has a gas barbecue for cookouts. The private 2-car garage will fit one full size car/suv and one small car.
Several amenities including:
-WIFI access in every room, deck and patio
-4 flat screen Smart TV s (Cable, HBO, Netflix) 1 in every bedroom
- beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, 2 beach cruiser bicycles
-outdoor warm shower wash off the sand
- ceiling fans in every room, including the deck
- pack in play, high chair, and games, toys, books and puzzles for all ages
-central ac is available upon request for an additional nightly fee
COVID cleaning practices:
Self check in -check out process (digital code provided prior to arrival)
Hand sanitizer and anibacterial hand soap is provided.
Cleaning team wears masks and gloves. (particular attention to high touch areas)
All antibacterial disinfectants and cleaners used that are also provided.
All linens are washed and dryed at high heat in between guest stays

Our other rental vrbo#690565 is across the court.

This rental is located in a very quiet, high density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter families. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Make sure that you are comfortable with these polices before renting.

There is sometimes weekday construction from time to time at the beach.

We had an excellent stay! The location was perfect. So close to everything but nice and quiet at night. The house was super clean and so well stocked. We had 2 toddlers with us and I was so excited to find baby gates for the stairs, travel cribs, booster seats, beach toys and so many things I didn’t even think we’d need. The only challenge was parking our expedition in the garage but it fit! Next time I’ll rent a smaller car lol We would definitely love to stay here on all our future trips to San Diego!

The house was even better than we expected. What made it great was all the extras like the beach toys and chairs,surf boards, and toys and games for the kids! Great location near the beach and a safe area. Host was very responsive to any questions too!

This was one of the nicest rental homes that I’ve ever stayed in. The layout was spectacular for two couples to have their own space and privacy. The host is accommodating and responsive. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We spent 5 nights here with our San Diego kids and grandkids for a family getaway prior to school starting. There were 9 of us in total, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful home, very open, bright and nicely furnished and decorated. There were plenty of kitchen amenities, beach towels and bath towels. Kids really enjoyed all the bikes, boogie boards, and location practically on the beach. Erin was quick to answer any questions, and everything was a breeze.

This house is exactly as pictured! High end finishes, clean, and located right in between the ocean and the bay. Steps to either! Well stocked with paper products, soaps, towels, linens, beach supplies, etc! Highly recommend!

We were a party of 7 adults and the house had plenty of room for all of us. All bedding and towels were top notch. Lots of beach towels and things for the beach, like chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. But for cooking, you need to buy all the spices and such. There was only salt and pepper.The house has a lot of stairs!!!!!! The laundry is on the lowest level. And your neighbors are very very close.The only hard part of the trip was the garage and parking. We have a large SUV and while we were able to park it in the garage, it was an ordeal to do it. Every day we looked for street parking and none was to be found. I can't imagine what you would do if you had 2 cars and could not park in the garage.We would stay here again, but with a MUCH smaller car.

Family visit and Getaway

The property was great. They provided everything you could need. The location is so close to the beach, the house was updated and clean. The only complaint I have is the parking. No fault of the property, but we had a SUV and a car and couldn’t park both in the garage so we struggled on the weekend for additional parking but during the week days it was a little better. Something to consider if you have two vehicles. I would say here again but rent a smaller vehicle.

Awesome Family Vacation

We highly recommend this home on Mission Beach! As a VRBO owner myself in S Carolina, I am always critical when I stay in other homes. This house was perfect, had absolutely everything we needed and more. Was clean, perfect location in Mission Beach close to shopping, restaurants and attractions. We did the zoo, Torrey Pines, sailed with porpoise and whales, enjoyed the Ocean Beach farmers market and had great food at many of the local restaurants. we had never been to San Diego before and this house was great!

Great location, beautiful house

We had a great trip back to San Diego. Our first time we stayed directly across the walkway from this property. Both properties are beautiful. This house seemed to be not as stocked with household things such as spices, toilet trees, extra paper towels, etc. However, Ralphs (grocery store) is within walking distance and we frequented there almost every morning. The kids loved being upstairs while we took the downstairs bedroom. It was a great property in a great location. Must go to the Catamaran resort and hang out on their beach for the day. Paddle board, kayak, walk the boardwalk, etc. Plenty of chairs in the garage to bring with you. Overall, a great spot! Will be back!

Wonderful stay

We loved our time here and can see why reviews are great! Parents of small kids there are tons of supplies and toys here as well as lots of baby gates. Just an fyi for parents: the stairs might be an issue for younger kids or less steady adults as they are tiled. The location was great, beds were very comfortable and blackout shades in all rooms and even the sunlights were appreciated! All the beach activity supplies you could need.

“Santastic”!

Beautiful spot for any length of stay … but certainly 5 or more days. Property is top shelf. Owner communicates well. Plenty of spots to eat and wet your whistle. I’ll go back and stay again without any qualms. One note, garage handles a moderate size SUV; but not a truck or Tahoe. Nissan Pathfinder fits just fine.

If you are reading the comments trying to decide on a property, all I can say is just book this one while you can.Great location, well maintained, well stocked, incredible array of beach supplies, and owner communication was excellent. Layout is perfect for two couples or a small family plus grandparents. Highly recommend!

Family Christmas !

The property was right off the beach, very easy to get around and was a close distance to restaurants, grocery stores, bars. The house was very updated and cozy. We had 6 adults and everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen was stocked well so we could make food there if we wanted . The property manager was easily accessible . Our family loved the stay!
