Modern Retreat Steps to the Beach!

Modern retreat, steps to the beach with a peek a boo view of the ocean off the patio! Take your shoes off and relax in this newly renovated property complete with all of today's modern conveniences. Equipped with a/c, full kitchen, rain shower, business wifi, off street parking and access to washer/dryer. Private, gated entrance with outdoor shower to rinse off after an ocean swim. Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, igloo and sand toys are ready for you to enjoy.

Located in the heart of Mission Beach, walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, Belmont Park with the iconic Giant Dipper Rollercoaster, Mission Bay, Boutiques and five mile long boardwalk. Catch the fireworks from Sea World, just across the bay. Freeway access is nearby to reach downtown, North Park, Coronado, La Jolla and more within minutes.

Things to know:

Property is located on the second floor with access by stairs.

Air conditioning is in the common areas and can cool down the entire unit with the bedroom door ajar.

No smoking and no pets allowed on the premises (this includes patios, balconies, and common areas)

There are active security cameras on the exterior of the property.

This home is located in a high-density neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. There is a no tolerance policy for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, pets, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home.

No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed.

There is free parking for 1 vehicle. This is off street parking near the main street and about 100 steps from the unit.

Perfect location-fantastic property!

We stayed with our kids ages 9 and 11, this was the perfect location. A short walk to the beach, boardwalk, Belmont Park, shopping, and food. The host and locals were very helpful with suggestions. The home was equipped with everything we needed for the beach. We had a great time and would love to stay here again!

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach property. It was a great location and the property was as described. The communication with the host was good. The only thing that was a negative to this VRBO was the parking space. Parking space 1 is located under a tree which at the time of our stay was infested with cankerworms. These little worms lowered themselves on my car and then got into my car. I needed to wash my car 3x and I still had to kill them by hand. The infestation of my car wasn’t ideal. If I didn’t drive and flew a to my CA getaway I would have given this property 5 stars but the cankerworms were very gross and it cost me additional money to clean my car.

The sequel was as good as the original!

We returned for our second visit to this awesome retreat. It was just as great as the first. Everything was as described in the listing. Great food all around us, and beach chairs and umbrella to help us enjoy the beach. I wasn't sure the sequel would match last year's trip, but it did! Would definitely recommend and we hope to make another trip back in the future when we can stay even longer.

Perfect Location

Would definitely stay again! This is by far the best location to the beach, Sea World, golf, and all the beach activities! Super short walking distance to restaurants and beach was a huge plus! Private parking spot was a bonus and close to house. Communication with the host was A++! Perfect place for a couple to stay. Very clean and newly remodeled. Loved it.

Great Location, Awesome Updates!

My 3 teens and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! The couch is not a full size pull out bed, rather an L-shaped couch with a 2-cushion sized pull out. It fit my 12 year old and I just fine was was comfortable for us but 2 adults may have a problem with comfort. The bed is very comfortable. We had everything we needed including a full kitchen, gorgeous bathroom, A/C, internet and TV options, plenty of extra towels, an extra set of bedding, washer/dryer, secure auto locks on all exterior doors, and prompt communication with the owner. Steps to the beach and plenty of beach toys!

Just what we needed

This property was a great fit for our quick getaway to Mission Beach to visit our daughter. We were able to walk the beach and to local restaurants. It was very clean. The host had excellent directions and was wonderful to work with.

Beautiful beach bungalow!

Perfect for the two of us! Just steps from the beach and Belmont park, yet far enough to not be disturbed by excess noise. Very clean, modern amenities with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week at the beach. Great communication with the owner. Looking forward to our next stay.

Great location

The location just outside the main tourist area was key to our enjoyment of staying here. Excellent communication with the owner, rather than an agent, was another key. The washer/dryer made our 3 week stay a breeze. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to TCI.

Amazing beach trip!

Took our little family here for a quick beach getaway and it didn’t disappoint! The perfect condo, just steps away from the beach. We enjoyed walking the boardwalk and eating at the restaurants close by. Our favorites were “The Mission” for gourmet breakfast and “Rosaria” for yummy pizza. The place was very clean and had an updated, modern feel. They even had sand toys and boogie boards available, also a washer and dryer which is a bonus when you have a toddler! Thanks for an incredible trip!

Excellent, just a little noisy

The place is newly remodeled and quite clean. Be aware that the neighborhood is under a flight path so it's a bit noisy. Also noisy because you're in close quarters with the other units. The trash track is absurdly loud every morning. Nitpick: the shower wall is pretty small due to the size of the bathroom so the water goes all over it.

Short walk to the beach, very clean

Immaculate and very short walk to the beach. Just as shown in photos. It was perfect for my son and me. The owners were very responsive and very hospitable. We loved our stay here.
