This was not the Bates Hotel, but definately a psycho experience.
1. Check-in was very difficult and misleading.
2. Information on unit did not pertain to 303. It was for 206 and it was misleading and inaccurate.
3. Received a key that did not open the lower door knob lock on front door, only opened front gate. Why have a lock on a door and not provide a key to open it. I had to call a locksmith on my own, pay the bill that evening to get my medication inside. Expensive! Very!!
4. The electronic deadbolt also had NO instruction on how to secure unit when leaving as well. Big mistake because it stays unlocked! Figured this out on our own once we paid the locksmith directly to get back in unit.
5. No help nor support from contact person Javier whoever he is? This women told me it was my fault for locking the lower lock. She was rude, and uncaring, and provided no help for us that night. The next day she was reasonable when we were on a 3 way call with VRBO. After the conversation with VRBO on the line she called me back again and was was rude, provided no restitution for my financial loss, and basically laughed in my face. Where is Javier?
6. No hot water in the mornings. I could go on... but you get the picture
7. The view was great, but the rental experience from MySDrental is not worth the view and certainly not the extra cost for misinformation and the hassle I experienced on vacation.
8. VRBO is looking into my complaint.
