Good spot to stay for PLNU Graduation!
We were all able to stay together in this property for our daughter's graduation at PLNU. There are quite a few things that need to be addressed at this location.

Disappointed
First, I want to thank VRBO for caring enough about our problems to return our service fee. If only VACASA were that concerned. We were without a washer our the entire stay. This was unacceptable and the owner/manager showed very little concern for the problem. To compound the issue, there were never adequate towels and wash clothes for 8 guests. I repeatedly reached out to the manager for help. She was nice and dropped off a few towels, but not enough to help with the broken washer. Quite frankly, we should have had fresh towels delivered daily, at the least. Instead, I spent hours and extra funds at the laundry mat. When we rent a home with advertised appliances ( I would never rent a home without a washer and dryer), we assume the appliances will function as advertised. I have requested a refund of some significance for our inconvenience and the lack of concern. I have heard nothing from VACASA or the manager of the property. For the first two nights we were without a furnace. I am thankful that the technicians were able to fix it. However, two nights out of six without a furnace is a concern!!

Nice but Challenging
NOTE: this is not the house for elderly or accessibility-challenged individuals. There are three stairs to the front door and no railing. There is a 9” step down from foyer to living room and fourth bedroom; no banister. The king beds are about 12” from the floor. Pros: Rooms were clean. Good supply of towels. We had two issues (clogged toilet and leak in roof leaving puddles of water in bedroom) and the management company was very responsive. Cons: The living areas have large windows without any type of window coverings, leaving us with very little privacy especially since the house is on a busy corner. The property is on a very, very busy (vehicle and foot traffic) corner making access to driveway unsafe, at times. While the bed linens were clean, the mattresses and pillows on all beds were stained; no mattress pads. We didn’t notice this until the day we left and had to strip the beds. Had we noticed sooner, I don’t think we would have stayed.

A home away
This is a fantastic home with plenty of space and different areas for friends to gather. I always appreciate a quality mattress and good bedding, which always makes a trip better when you sleep well. Well positioned to visit little Italy and the gas lamp district. Would stay again and tell others to stay here.

Great Experience
This property is wonderful. Very spacious. The beds were so comfortable. They were low to the ground which was nice for my mother-in-law to be able to get in and out of easily. Loved that the suite bathrooms were walk in showers. Kitchen was well stocked with items you would need for your stay. We loved the location because we were able to walk to the coffee shop every morning and there is a small grocery market there too. We would definitely recommend this property.

Property worked well for our group of 5 ladies. Location was near many of the things we wanted to do. The only thing we didn’t t like was that there were a number of large windows with no window coverings. The property was on a fairly busy street with both foot and vehicle traffic, so at times there was a lack of privacy in the common areas of the property.

Graduation Weekend
We stayed at the house for the weekend while my wife graduated from PLNU. The house itself was pretty clean, but there were a few maintenance issues that we noticed (i.e leaning gate, some cracks on walls and floors, etc.). However, the house itself was very cozy and the family overall enjoyed their stay.

San Diego birthday fun
SO great to find a place that could accommodate us all! well-equipped kitchen, and big dining table. comfy beds and pillows tho one queen mattress was flipped over to have springs on top so we had to flip. bath linens were great but could have used more face cloths and kitchen towels. seating in the tv area was good but needs better lighting. off-street parking a plus and the location was ideal for exploring the city. would recommend this property for a large group.
