  • Enjoy relaxed beach living at this charming Mission Beach cottage just 1/2 block to the bay and a short walk to the ocean. Restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and beach rentals are all nearby, making it easy to enjoy San Diego without needing a car.

    The cottage features a full kitchen, fast WiFi, dedicated workspace, private outdoor seating area, and the rare bonus of large dedicated parking space... a huge plus in Mission Beach!

    This bright and thoughtfully furnished standalone cottage combines modern comfort with laid-back beach style. Natural wood accents, comfortable furnishings, and an open living area create a cozy space to relax after a day in the sun.

    The cottage includes:
    - 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom
    - Full kitchen with dishwasher and gas stove
    - Fast WiFi and dedicated workspace
    - Comfortable living room with Smart TV and YouTubeTV
    - Outdoor seating area for morning coffee or evening drinks
    - Dedicated SUV parking space
    - Free onsite laundry

    The primary bedroom features a comfortable queen bed with soft linens and a calming beach-inspired design. The second bedroom includes a trundle bed that converts into two twin beds along with a workspace, making it great for kids, friends, or remote work stays.

    Whether you spend the day surfing, paddle boarding, biking along the boardwalk, or exploring San Diego, this cottage is a comfortable home base in one of the best locations in Mission Beach.

    Guests have private access to the entire cottage and one dedicated parking space.

    Unlike other rentals, there is a large parking spot that comes with the house (A huge plus in the summer months when parking is at a premium).
    Please note that while an F250 truck can fit in the spot, it can sometimes be difficult getting into the spot, especially if you are not familiar with the vehicle you are driving. If the disabled spot across the alley is open, then it is a breeze as you just pull in there and back into your spot.

    Free shared laundry is available onsite.

    Please note:
    - Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am
    - No parties or unapproved visitors allowed
    - This property has a strict no-noise-violation policy
    - Absolutely no smoking anywhere on the property

    Family items available upon request:
    - Crib delivery: $25
    - Crib + high chair delivery: $35

    Air conditioning is located in the main living area and, combined with fans, keeps the cottage comfortable even during warmer summer days.

Molly’s Rental was exactly as described. Small cute cottage perfect for me and my two teenage girls. Cottage was clean and in a perfect location, next to Olive Cafe one of my favorite coffee and brunch places.

Super convenient location for quiet Beach getaway

This is a great location for a getaway. A few minute walk to the beach sand. Great restaurants close to walk too. The more populated parts of the beach a 15 minute walk away if that's your preference. The place the size of a nice horel. Perfect for couples. This place an exceptional place to stay

Beach Getaway

This house was a perfect place for a nice beach getaway. It is so close to the beach and only took about 5 mins to walk there. It is also in close walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. The house was a perfect size for our group of three. It was well stocked with items that we needed.

Great stay in Mission Beach

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was close to everything and the coffee stand at the end of the alley was awesome! The place is small as described, but it worked out fine for us 4 as we spent most of our time at the beach and traveling around. It was a great home base while we were in San Diego!

It’s a perfect stay for a small family. Very close to the beach, restaurants and stores. The host MOLLY , she is a super nice and helpful person, very hands on, she will reply you message very quick. I would recommend her place any time. I hope in the future we will return to her cottage.

This property worked very well for the three of us. It was walkable to restaurants and beach. We have never stayed at a vrbo that had so much to offer as far as extras. Molly was always available and helpful in every way.

Excellent! I would gladly rent it again.

The cottage was the perfect place for me. The location couldn't be better. The beach, bay, restaurants, bars, and liquor store are within walking distance. It is close to the action but the cottage is quiet. Molly was easy to communicate with.
