Excellent place to stay with a big group. Close to MCRD if you need to attend Marine graduation. Balboa Park is a must if you like history and culture. Thanks to the property host. Definitely will return and recommend.

Great spot for fun times with friends!

6 of us stayed in this rental for two nights on a weekend getaway to San Diego from LA. The location was great with plenty of street parking. The rental felt much bigger than it even looked in pictures. Ubers were only about 10 dollars in every direction for where we needed to go all weekend. Recommend this place and would totally stay here again!

Cute decor and has 2 Kings

We picked this place because of the combo of 2 king beds and price. There were twin bunk beds and trundles so all the kids slept comfortably. It was cutely decorated and had plenty of towels provided. The only issue was there was no designated parking and it wasn’t easy to find street parking until late at night.

Great place!

We had a group of 10 people staying at this place and we had no issues. Plenty of space to sleep and hangout. Kitchen had all the necessities if you were planning on cooking. Location is also close to many great restaurants and attractions. Thing only thing was that originally we had planned for 12 people (listing is advertised for 12) but ended up having 10 and we had taken up all the beds with 10 so we got lucky. If you're okay with having three people on a bed then you can do 12. But overall good experience.

Amazing!!!

This was our first time renting a vacation house and we had the best experience. The property manager was always available to answer any questions we had. Very friendly service. The house was very nice and the interior design was very nice and modern. You don’t have to worry about taking bath towels, cooking utensils, soap, or board games. Everything is provided for you! Not to mention the beautiful view to Balboa Park! I definitely recommend renting this property 10/10!!!!!

The property itself is clean with an excellent location across the street from Balboa park. It is well equipped with beautiful view of the park from the balcony. One issue to be aware of is that there is no free parking available. Parking on the street was readily available, but it is metered to a max of 4 hrs per day during the week starting at 8am. So you can leave car overnight, but need to figure out what to do with it during the day. Also had a few communication mix ups early on. We did not request an early check in - but we advised the owner the day before that my wife was arriving early and asked if the unit might be available. We were told yes. When she arrived, unit was inaccessible. We tried calling the help number and was out on hold for 30 minutes. It eventually sorted out, and we received apology and advised that there was a mix up and early check in is not available at the location. So there was some initial confusion and frustration, but after that communication was better. We just would have made different plans. In summary, great location and well equipped. Just be aware of parking challenges if you have a car and that there is no early check in.

Couldn’t rest for 10 days

The property is very well located but its old and requires maintenance. First day we arrive and there was no hot water, however, the property manager fixed very quickly. During the last day of our stay, we had some kind of leak from the floor above and in the middle of the night it started dripping above the bed. The answer from the property manager was put a towel and tomorrow that you’re gone will fix it. My most important note is that the rooms lack proper blinds and 2 of the have skylights so if you are sensible to light there is no way of resting as you have light entering the room all night. Also, the front of the apartment lacks blinds and since your are in front of the street, you have little privacy. Also, the property has a parking space but you are not allowed to use it so you have to look in the street and sometimes its not available close by. I went on peak season but felt the property was overpriced.

Great location!

We had a great experience with the property. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The location, so close to the park was great. We walked to the zoo and museums, everywhere else in the area we wanted to visit was about a 10 min drive. Don’t worry about street parking, there were always spaces very close by. AvantStay was so helpful! Highly recommend

4.5 star experience

I will first say that the property and location is amazing. It was very clean and modern and more than what we expected. There was a minor issue with a little water leak in the master but the owner and Property Management team were very responsive and took care of us. The overall experience was over the top and will plan to stay here again.

Perfect for us!

The location was exactly where we needed to be to run in the Rock-n-Roll marathon. The condo was in great condition and could accommodate our group! We were thrilled. We also appreciated easy access for questions or concerns.

Location location location

We had a great long weekend getaway. Really enjoyed the park. There are so many great eateries within walking distance of the condo.
