The shower in our room DID NOT WORK, and the man came and saw and LITERALLY ASKED ME if I would like a bucket to fill up to dump the water from the tub on myself to wash up. I’m 8 months pregnant. It was the absolute craziest thing I could’ve ever been told or offered in my life.

Checked in, person at counter spoke very poor English, and was extremely confused when I asked about how much the deposit would be, he began to break it all down with a very condescending tone. Walked into the room, first thing I noticed was a dead insect on the floor, then I noticed the bottom of the door had no weather stripping and I could see outside right through the bottom of the door. No wonder there were bugs in the room. The counters and the bathtub were heavily scratched and stained. The light fixture in the middle of the room was broken and had a plastic grocery bag taped around it. The bed only had 2 very small pillows, so I decided to go ask for more, as well as extra towels to block the bottom of the door. When I asked for pillows, the attendant told me he could give me anymore because the shipment of pillows never came. I said, a hotel without pillows, and he responded with, well all i do is explain, I do not care. That's when I decided me and my wife will not stay in this terrible place, we immediately left. Wish I took pictures. Will never recommend, and will forever speak badly about it.

This Isa trash hotel and the ones running it couldn’t care less. The toilet was clogged up when we checked it and they never came to fix it so we had to use the restroom at truck stop across the street from it. The bed when the cover was pulled had hairs in it. There are holes in the walls and the shower. There is no room telephone. A lady was walking around the parking lot looking several rooms. They advertise security but never saw any. There is a later time to check in for 3rd party go between on booking the room and they are given as what was posted other rooms. Why they are on your service or any other is beyond me. The wood was rotting all over. Drunks roaming the parking lots and throwing up. They also claim parking is not free based on the paper in the lobby. The do not even deserve a single star..
Safe this place is not. It’s a dump and even though your app said if we canceled, we would only get part of a refund from them when if, you won’t get any refund at all. They say they keep it all and they don’t care if you cancel and leave or stay…
How would you like staying here with family?? You wouldn’t. We feel like we were robbed and we were.

The room was clean and didn’t have any imposing odors. However, the room I stayed in faced a fleet of various 18-wheelers approximately 100 feet away. Many of the trucks had the engines running continuously. Around 6 a.m., I was startled by the loud engine starts from some of the trucks—which seemed to be right outside my window. The other undesirable feature of this “budget” motel is that it has a third world vibe (right here in modern San Antonio). As an independent, long-time liberated American woman, I was dismayed by having been approached by Asian Indian men who wanted to know if I was married (presumably to determine if I was secured property), uncool. America of 2026, we can do better! Also, did not get my security deposit back upon check-out like I have with other budget motels. Shell out a few more bucks and pass on this one—unless you like loud trucks and being approached by men who aren’t well assimilated to American mores.

The tub has black stains. 5 nights no housekeeping. Hotel room was old. Spiders on the bed. If you need a cheap room just to sleep and do not care about black stains in the tub, then this will work for you.
