Duck Inn, newly renovated one story home, featuring a full kitchen with all new
appliances and granite countertops. Sit back and relax in the den on the new sofas and
recliner, and large flat screen TV. Bedroom 1 has a King bed, Bedroom 2 has a Queen
bed. The full bathroom has a shower and tub combo. You have access to a washer and
dryer in the home.
Retreat to the large backyard, with gated privacy fencing, a covered patio with seating
and a gas grill. Gather here to play Giant Jenga, lawn Bocce, and washers.
You will have covered off street parking.
No need to uber from the Duck Inn. Stroll to Historic Downtown Boerne along Heart of
Boerne walking path on the banks of the Cibolo Creek. Stop and feed the ducks. Shop
local at boutiques, art galleries, antiques. Thirsty? Step into craft brew pubs, wine
tasting, shaved ice, hand crafted cocktails. Hungry? Don’t miss the bakery, award

We are repeat renters at the Duck Inn. The hosts are very communicative and easy to reach. The house is everything you want in a property—clean, plenty of room for us, and easy walking or driving distance to dining, shopping, and activities. Most important are the thoughtful touches such as bottled water, plenty of towels, multi-plug outlets, and basic toiletries.

Incredible retreat for Dad & Daughter

Was such an amazing place to stay for us. Traveled for a retirement ceremony for an old Boerne friend. This home was perfect for us. The beds are amazing, the morning coffee on the patio, a good workout under the carport and a memorable card game in the cute kitchen. The short walk to the river was perfect for some quality time for us and I would absolutely stay here. Well done guys. I’m also a host and I could not have done this better. So thankful for this home.

The Perfect Getaway!

This was hands down the best place we have ever rented! The owners went above and beyond, thinking of every detail to make our stay comfortable and special—including beautifully decorating the house for the holidays. The mattresses were incredibly comfortable, the house was spotless, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. We truly felt at home here and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a flawless rental experience!

Amazing Find.....

Probably has to be the best rental home we have ever stayed in....... We were in town for a girl's weekend, the house was amazing and just like the description. Close to everything in town. Super easy check in and check out process with great communication from the owners. House has everything you need and more, these hosts have thought of everything. We will definitely be staying again when we are back in town.

The Duck Inn for the win!

Our experience at the Duck In was wonderful. It was so clean, had everything needed and accessible, location was perfect, and the backyard was such a nice area to hang out and relax! Would definitely recommend (for smaller groups) and we will be back!

Everything was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Duck Inn. Everything we needed was provided. We relaxed each morning and evening on the back porch, watching the many birds and squirrels at the feeders. We looked forward to staying here again when we visit our grandchildren. Thank you!

Texas hill country in spring

My two friends and I had a great experience at the Duck Inn from start to finish. It's a sweet property just a few blocks from the center of the small charming Texas town of Boerne. The Duck Inn was warm, welcoming, and beautiful as we walked in and we immediately felt at home. With two bedrooms, a comfortable living room, a well-appointed kitchen area, and a sweet private back yard area, it was perfect for us. Our hosts, Karen and John, knew we were coming to see the eclipse and communicated with us frequently before the trip to let us know what to expect due to the likely higher-than-normal number of visitors in town. They provided very useful advice so we would be well prepared and could make the most of our trip. The location is great! We very much enjoyed exploring Boerne, which has a lot of character and many interesting shops and places to eat. We also enjoyed driving around the spectacular Texas hill country. Throughout our stay, Karen and John could not have been more gracious. They checked in to see how we were doing and even invited us to their ranch to see the eclipse, which made the eclipse a memorable experience even though the clouds obscured it. Thanks to the quality and location of the property and the thoughtfulness of our hosts, we could not have had a more perfect time during our stay at the Duck Inn!

Great weekend get awat

The property was immaculate. The kitchen and Bath were well stocked. It is just a half block to river walk and a half mile walk into town. Restaurants and shopping all walking distance. PERFECT Location. There were bird feeders in back yard - lots of birds to watch. A smal fox climbed over the fence and laid down in the corner of the yard! My husband was thrilled to see that. We loved using the fire pit every night and sitting out under the stars. Great place for 2 couples to get away!!!!!!

Another nice visit to the Duck Inn

We enjoyed our repeat visit. Every amenity is well considered. Bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom is a nice space. The kitchen is very well equipped. If you’re eating indoors the kitchen table is perfect for two adults and two children. There is lovely outdoor seating. Lighting in the bedroom is great; it’s a little dark in the living room. The location is great for walking.

Absolutely perfect

This home was so inviting and accommodating. Fully stocked kitchen and such thoughtful amenities such as wall plugs that included usb for phones and sound machines in each bedroom. The backyard was so pleasant to sit for our morning coffee. The birds and squirrels kept us entertained. The hosts were so accommodating and very communitive. They even checked in to make sure we had everything. We have 4 stars for location only due to the evening noise from local establishments. But to be expected when they are close by. Perfect location for walk on the river or a stroll down main street. We will definitely be back.

Great stay

This is a beautiful home, very clean and cozy home. Location is perfect very close to main street also walking distance to go see the ducks. Walking distance to several restaurants. We loved the backyard and the carport was great you dont have to worry about your car being close to the street. All pictures posted is exactly how home is. If we come back we will definitely be back to ducks in. And karen was great my friend left a purse and karen mailed it the next day, thank you for a great stay.

Amazing stay from beginning to end!

This place is a wonderful gem in Boerne. The description and pictures of the property really don't do it justice. The place was beautifully decorated and updated. The backyard is quiet and we felt like we were secluded from everyone. Enjoyed an evening by the fire pit which was an added bonus. Little extras like snacks and a bottle of champagne for my wife's birthday were such a great personal touch to add to an amazing stay. Can't rave enough about the open communication with Karen and John. Always available to answer questions about the area and give recommendations for anything from a bite to eat to a cool bar to hang out at. This was such a great time, we will definitely be back.
