Chalet Gemini, offered by Alps Accommodation Samoëns, is a high end 6/7 bedroom alpine retreat in Samoëns with breathtaking mountain views. Spread over 4 floors, it offers a heated pool, hot tub, multiple terraces, and ample space for large groups. Just 400m from the village, enjoy year-round activities, top amenities, and stylish alpine charm.

THE PROPERTY
You enter Chalet Gemini via a ground floor entrance area, a spacious and welcoming area and a taste of what can be found further into the chalet. Take the wide staircase to the first floor and you arrive into a magnificent open-plan area hosting the living, dining, and kitchen areas. This 80m2 space offers a wonderfully light and spacious feel, as windows and sliding doors on three sides frame the unforgettable alpine scenery surrounding the chalet.

In the fully equipped kitchen, enjoy luxuries such as a large American style fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser, drinks fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, and instant boiling water straight from the tap! A 4 ring hob, full-size oven, and dishwasher, plus vast storage and work surface space make catering for a larger group effortless. A small table and bench seating is ideal for kids or adults, and a breakfast bar with stools is perfect for a quiet morning coffee.

A huge wooden dining table with elegant dining chairs is perfect for larger groups, seating 18 guests comfortably, enjoy fabulous meals, and take in the impressive backdrop. Most importantly, raclette and fondue equipment is provided!

The living area features an excellent array of quality and exceedingly comfortable seating thoughtfully arranged into two distinct areas. Choose to position yourself in front of the comforting crackle of the log fire and 65-inch smart TV, or grab a good book and relax in front of large windows and enjoy the alpine views beyond. Further entertainment is provided by a selection of family board games and Wi-Fi, while streaming services are available via the TV.

Back on the ground floor, you will find a snug/TV room with a 65-inch Smart TV, comfortable sofa, and a desk. The laundry contains a separate washing machine and dryer.

THE BEDROOMS
Chalet Gemini features 6/7 spacious bedrooms spread over three floors, with the majority located at the front of the chalet offering fabulous views over Samoëns and the valley.

Bedroom 1, the ensuite master bedroom, is a magnificent highlight. Over 20m2 of luxury including beautiful exposed beams, a super king-size bed, and a charming dressing table and armchair. The bedroom offers direct access to a balcony with wonderful views over the valley, and access to the gardens at the rear of the chalet. No less impressive, the ensuite bathroom features a large walk-in rain shower, bath, his and her sinks, towel radiator and WC. A large built-in wardrobe provides excellent storage space.

In bedroom 2, a comfortable queen-size bed positioned before large windows offers beautiful views over the valley, the perfect way to start the day! The south facing balcony, shared with bedroom 1, adds to the experience. A wardrobe and stylish chest of drawers provide ample storage.

Offering a similar layout, bedroom 3 contains a queen-size bed, with a scenic balcony allowing you to take in the views over the valley. A built-in wardrobe provides good storage space.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 share an adjacent family bathroom with a walk-in rain shower, his and her sinks, towel radiator and WC.

Bedroom 4 is a spacious ensuite room with a queen-size bed, dressing table and access to a south facing balcony, while two wardrobes offer good storage space. The impressive ensuite bathroom features a large walk-in rain shower, bath, his and her sinks, towel radiator and WC.

Bedroom 5, a quad room on the fourth floor, is ideal for kids and adults alike with 2 sets of full-size bunk beds, desk, and comfortable chairs providing a wonderfully quiet spot to take in the wonderful views from the south facing windows. This room also has a pull-out bed sleeping one additional person. Ample storage is provided by a large chest of drawers with further under bed storage.

Bedroom 6 is a triple bedroom featuring full-size single beds.

Bedrooms 5 and 6 share a family bathroom on the same floor offering guests a shower, his and her sinks, towel radiator and WC.

On the ground floor of the property, the snug can be configured as bedroom 7 thanks to a king size sofa bed, for more flexibility. The room also features a 65-inch Smart TV and desk.

THE EXTERIOR
Located in 1400m2 of private grounds, and with several balconies and terraces totalling 150m2, one of the real highlights of Chalet Gemini is its generous outside spaces and amenities, helping you take full advantage of its imperious mountainside location.

To the rear of the chalet, the gardens host two luxurious treats; a private 12.5 metre heated swimming pool (available May to October) offering staggering views from its elevated position behind the chalet. Additionally, a bubbly hot tub which is available year round.

Encircling the first floor of the chalet is a balcony to the front of the property, which links two terraces to the east and west of the property. The eastern terrace, bathed in morning sunshine, features a table and chairs ideal for dining al fresco during the warmer months. The western terrace provides a circular table and chairs and benefits from sunshine later in the day. The balcony to the front of the chalet is equipped with comfortable sofa style seating, and enjoys day-long sunshine year round. Sun loungers are also available.

And that’s not all! Table football, table tennis and darts provide excellent entertainment options.

On the ground floor, a large ski room with boot and glove drying rack provides excellent storage space for skis and outdoor equipment.

A 40m2 private closed garage provides covered parking for two cars, while an additional two private parking spaces are available directly outside the garage. The garage can also store multiple bikes and has the added benefit of 2 x 11KW EV chargers available for guest use.

LOCATION
Enjoying a commanding position on the mountainside overlooking the historic village of Samoëns, Chalet Gemini boasts a prime location. It offers truly magnificent views of the valley, including the iconic Criou mountain, waterfalls, and even the ski slopes of the Grand Massif. Offering scenery and tranquillity, it remains just a short 400m from the village centre, making it an ideal year-round holiday retreat. The charming village centre is filled with boutique shops, bars, restaurants, a beautiful church, botanical gardens, ice rink, cinema, weekly market and so much more!

During winter, a bus stop can be found 500m from the property, with a regular and free service to the Grand Massif Express lift and other villages and sites of the valley. Alternatively, large car parks opposite the same lift make driving to the lift a convenient option. Particularly useful for families, our partner ski hire shops offer equipment storage either at the bottom or top of the lift.

In the summer, Chalet Gemini offers quick access to a variety of fantastic attractions. A firm family favourite, and a few minutes drive, is Samoëns lakes, with surrounding activities such as swimming pools, golf driving range, tennis courts, tree top adventures park, parapenting, huge park ideal for games and picnics, and so much more.
