Located in the hippest & most vibrant neighborhood in town, this beautiful 1916 bungalow has been updated and remodeled while still preserving its historic charm. Stocked to the brim with everything your group needs for an amazing stay, you can relax in the bright, open living area, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, & enjoy the private fenced backyard. Just minutes from local shops, dining, parks, outdoor activities, sightseeing, ski resorts, and freeway access. Your perfect getaway awaits!

Built in 1916, this classic Sugar House bungalow is a true piece of history! Lovingly remodeled and updated while preserving its original charm, it reflects the craftsmanship and design of early 20th-century homes.

*What to Expect in a Home of This Era:
Cozy, Smaller Rooms: Bedrooms were designed for function over excess space, typical of early 1900s architecture.
Unique Layout: Many homes from this time were built without hallways, meaning some rooms must be accessed through others.
Original Hardwood Floors: These have been refinished but may have charming creaks.
Clawfoot Tub: A vintage staple! Please step in carefully (we provide a grab bar for safety).
Quirks & Character: Slightly uneven floors, original built-ins, and other period details make this home unique!

*The Sugar House Neighborhood:
One of Salt Lake City’s oldest and most vibrant areas, Sugar House was originally settled in the late 1800s and is named after the Utah Sugar Company, one of the first businesses in the state. The area is now known for its walkable streets, historic bungalows, independent shops, breweries, and parks—blending the charm of the past with a lively modern vibe!

While this home has been beautifully remodeled and well-maintained, it is over a century old, meaning it isn’t “perfect” like a brand-new build. If you appreciate historic craftsmanship, timeless charm, and a home with a story to tell, this is the perfect stay for you!

* Just blocks from dining, parks, breweries, shopping, and more!
* 10 miles (14 minutes) to the Airport
* 20 miles (30-45 minutes) to Park City, Snowbird, and Brighton Ski Resorts
* 4 miles (10 minutes) to Downtown Salt Lake City
* 0.3 miles (1 minute) to nearest EV Charging Station

BEDROOM 1: King Bedroom, closet, dresser, full length mirror, phone chargers, and fan. You will find a portable Pack-N-Play travel crib and sheets in the closet, if needed, as well as additional pillows and blankets.

BEDROOM 2: King Bedroom, blackout curtains, wardrobe to hang clothing on, full length mirror, phone chargers.
Note* Bedroom 3 must be accessed through this bedroom so it's great for families.

BEDROOM 3: Two Twin beds, dresser, galaxy light
Note* Must be accessed through Bedroom 2. It has a sliding barn door for privacy.

BATHROOM 1: Claw foot tub with shower, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Must be able to step into the claw foot tub. There is a grab bar for safety.

BATHROOM 2: Half bath right off the kitchen on your way to the backyard.

MUD ROOM: Ironing board, iron, doggie bed and food dishes, folding high chair, PacMan!

COOKING: Gorgeous kitchen, stove top and oven, blender, full coffee bar, pots and pans, toaster, dishwasher.

DINING ROOM: Large dining table and seating for 8, filled with natural light, record player with records, and barware.

LIVING ROOM: Comfy couch and chairs, Smart TV, reading books and games

LAUNDRY ROOM: located downstairs with a washer and dryer and laundry supplies.

FRONT PORCH: AMAZINGLY ADORABLE PLACE TO SIT and enjoy your coffee under this covered porch.

DRIVEWAY: PLEASE PARK YOUR VEHICLES OFF STREET

BACK YARD: Adirondack chairs surround a gas firepit, outdoor seating and table for dining, BBQ grill, and bistro lights. The backyard is fully fenced, however small dogs may be able to squeeze between slats.

We love hosting WELL BEHAVED pets! In order to keep our home clean and meticulously cared for, we charge a pet fee of $25 per night. The backyard is fully fenced but small dogs may be able to squeeze under the fence or through the slats. We provide food dishes, poop bags, and doggie beds. We also have 2 crates available if you must leave your doggies for a bit. Please use these to avoid damages to the house!

Guest Access:
The entire home is yours to enjoy!

There are stairs leading to the basement that do not have a gate. Please watch children around them. There is a door from the kitchen that can be closed however.

Other Details:

FRAGRANCE SENSITIVITIES: We strive to keep our home fresh and inviting using natural cleaners like Mrs. Meyer's and vinegar as well as fragrance- and dye-free laundry detergent for those with sensitivities. However, we also use plug-in air fresheners and provide bathroom spray and dryer sheets for guests who enjoy scents.
If you prefer a scent-free environment, please request plug-in removal before your stay, and we’ll ensure your space is prepared accordingly during cleaning!

SECURITY CAMERAS: Please note, we do have exterior security cameras for the safety of our guests and because care for our property deeply.

House Rules:
1- NO SMOKING OR VAPING inside the home or within 10 feet of entrance. There is a $200 fine if this rule is broken.

2- ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR UNREGISTERED GUESTS. Quiet time is from 10 pm-8 am. Be aware that we have outside security cameras for the safety and protection of our property and to monitor guest count.

3- WELL BEHAVED dogs are accepted with a nightly fee of $25. Dogs may not be left unattended and are not allowed on any furniture or bedding. We provide a pet bed, but your pet may be more comfortable with a blanket from home as well. There is a $50 poop scooping fee if poop fairy has to clean up any messes left behind. Please clean up after your fur babies.

4- There is a $25 per hour LATE CHECKOUT/EARLY ARRIVAL FEE. Please message us if you need to make arrangements so we can be properly prepared.

5- LOCALS MUST MESSAGE US BEFORE BOOKING! We need to get a little more information about your reason for staying with us.

6- LONGER STAYS require more frequent cleanings. Cleanings will be scheduled every two weeks and billed at the time of booking.

7- PLEASE LEAVE FURNITURE AND DECORATIONS as they are! Moving items can cause damages and takes our cleaning team longer to prepare for the next guests. There is a $150 fine for breaking this rule.

Loved the dining room and living room was great for our family to spend time together. So many special touches - dog dishes and cookies, plenty of bath towels, ice machine! The house is clean. Easy check-in. Welcome treats was a nice surprise ,especially dog biscuits. Ample amenities. Having poopy bags in the backyard was very convenient. Easy drive to the University. Best of all Michelle (owner) responds fasts to our inquiries/questions. The only con - small shower area. Taking a shower in the clawfoot tub/shower require some maneuvering.

Home feel away from home

Love this home and will definitely stay again if in SLC. Accommodations for your dogs and kids. Close to so many local favorite spots. Walk, bike or ride share easily. The house felt like home and was the perfect place to stop on my road trip!
