"Needed a last minute place to stay, and this was clean and quiet, with attentive staff, though poorly maintained (eg old furniture stored in the hallway, bathroom exhaust did not work). The room had a huge hot tub in the corner with a wall mirror. Fantastic location, easy drive to downtown Zion and Illinois Beach State Park."

"Didn’t eat the breakfast nor did we use many amenities. The only thing I can comment on the bathroom floor was sunk in and coming apart and the buttons in the AC were gone. What I paid and what I needed it was worth it."

My husband and I just retired after 30 years. We worked at a State Resort Park in Ky. So we really look at how maintained and the cleanliness of the facilities. Continental breakfast was replenished. "I would not recommend this hotel. The ceiling above the shower was coming down, the towel holder in the bathroom was falling off the wall, the new flooring didn’t reach behind the toilet, a picture was removed from above the bed but the metal clips were still hanging there. And the batteries died in the card device of our room door so our security cards wouldn’t work. It was a Sunday and maintenance doesn’t work on the weekends. The front desk had to use a makeshift wire and string to feed under...
