"Beautiful hotel. Very attentive staff throughout or staff."

"Was perfect location - 10 mins walking to town and 20 mins to the beaches. Lovely, clean, spacious and equipped with good views. Please note very steep hill to walk back"

"Skønt, hyggeligt og rent hus med en god placering. "

"A spotlessly clean and well presented home with a lovely view from the patio.Superbly located near the town centre and bus stops, The parking issue is a little tedious but surmountable."

"I think the property needed a “lift”- albeit end of season it was tired and not up to scratch!the welcome pack left a lot to be desired!!!not cleaned properly!the whole package was lacking a “wow”- not cheap but felt cheap!"

It only has electric storage heaters which were impossible to work out hence the house was cold at times. The allocated numbered car park space within the complex is on a slope and a dip so was totally unsuitable for our low car, scraped the front. We used a different space as it was...

"The property was fine, being met with a pair of underpants on the outside banister didn’t bode well, but once inside it was fine. We are in our seventies so going downstairs in the morning with two cups of tea wasn’t ideal but we worked around it. The place was clean and very well equipped although we ate out every day. Salcombe is very niche and expensive although very beautiful and the natives were friendly enough. There are some lovely views a hilly walk away. There are National Trust gardens...

"The cottage is in an ideal location but is tired and in need of a little love. Whilst the beds were comfy, the bed linen and general furniture felt very worn. We loved the history and position of the cottage and it was great for a 2 night stay with my children. It's important to note that you cannot park near the cottage and have to approach on foot up a very steep alley. Views from the garden were spectacular. "
