"This is a very nice hotel located in the heart of Reykjavík. It’s very comfortable though the rooms are not immensely large. Just for people’s knowledge, there is no front desk for check in and no observable staff. No worries though, they send you a code for keypad for the front door and your room. We had zero issues getting into the hotel and into our room. A very important note, there is a phenomenal bakery called Brikk right next to the hotel. "Great home base for our vacation. We stayed 5 Knights and it was perfect place for day trips around Iceland. Very clean and free easy parking. Plus killer water pressure!"

"Easily accessible via car from KEF. There is plenty of on street parking. It’s located in an area where there are mostly homes and apartments. Walkable to Perlan Museum (you can see the Dome from Alba). Walkable to Reykjavik. My pedometer said I walked 5m but it seemed more. "I did not get my check in instructions ahead of time and was locked out on the first night. I had to pay 244 euros for a hotel. Neither summer day nor Expedia would refund me. Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "
