Santa Maria: Penthouse with Panoramic Ocean View

  • Beachfront Two Bedroom Penthouse with large terraces. The penthouse offers magnificent views of the ocean and the Bay of Santa Maria. The penthouse has a large living room with dining area and an open plan kitchen. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and provides access to the terrace in the back. The apartment is fully equipped to accommodate 5 guests.
    The penthouse is located in Residence Beachside on Praia Antonio Sousa within a minute’s walk from the Josh Angulo Surf Center and beach. Ten minute walk from the Center of Santa Maria where shops and restaurants are located. Ten minute walk from the Pier where local Fishermen sell their catch of the day.
    Currently there is a small contruction being built in front of the building which has only a ground level platform and a number of pillars (apparantly the project has been stopped). This contruction does not affect the sea view.

Beautiful Appartment with an outstanding view

Very nice flat, 50 mt far from the beach. The terrace is about 20qm - great place to start or to finish the day. A special thanks to the excellent support during our stay.

Absolutely perfect place to stay

We loved this apartment very much: spacious, quiet, right on the beach with great views. Just fantastic! Everything was as described, Katia was a great host and the local property manager was also helpful and proactive. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this apartment.

Fabulous sea view

Katia’s penthouse apartment is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The larger terrace (there are two) overlooks the sea and has great furniture for eating and sunbathing. There are the foundations of a building in front of the apartment which has never been finished (and apparently won’t be) but you really don’t notice it, all you see is the sea and you can watch the windsurfers and kite surfers. We enjoyed being at the quieter end of town and it was only a couple of minutes walk to the swimming beach and the Columbus club where we relaxed on sun benches and had great food. There’s also a lovely ice cream and sandwich shop right there. About 10 minutes walk away is the pier where we bought beautiful fish straight from the boats for about €3 to €4 per kilo and there are lovely ladies selling fruit and vegetables from their wheelbarrows. We had a great day tour of Sal with an Italian girl who lives round the corner and their company is called 360 degrees. You can book it from the tourist office next to the back entrance of the Sal beach and sport club. We loved staying in Katia’s apartment and will definitely stay there again when we return to Sal. Thank you Katia.

Fantastic spacious apartment!

We had a fantastic stay at Katia's apartment last week. It's really spacious with high ceilings and wonderful views of the ocean. When we arrived we were picked up from the airport and met by a lady from the island who deals with things. She was lovely and had arranged for a grocery care package to be supplied, which really took the hassle out of the first few days. especially as we had a toddler in tow! I would definitely stay here again. Katia was very helpful before we arrived and Lenise (the lady we dealt with there) was also very helpful.

Heerlijke lokatie!

Een fijn appartement met schitterend uitzicht. Heerlijk verblijf gehad en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

mooi appartement met enkele gebreken

De beschrijving van het appartement klopt met de foto"s. Toch enkele tekorten: 1) geen airco in de slaapkamers 2) geen enkele cm overdekt terras terwijl het er erg warm is ( je kan alleen genieten vh terras ad voorkant tot 10u a.m en 5u p.m 3) het prachtige uitzicht over de oceaan wordt belemmerd door een grote immer volgeladen afvalcontainer waarrond de straathonden telkens vechten.

Wonderful stay

Would definetly recommend the flat. It's well located, just in front of the beach, very nice appartment, well equipped. The pictures are 100% accurate. We will repeat next year. Everything was really smooth. Would recommend as we had a wonderful time.

Super Unterkunft - super Urlaub - No Stress :)

"Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, modern, und entsprach genau den Angaben in der Anzeige. Alles war sauber, wir wurden direkt vom Flughafen abgeholt und zum Appartment gefahren, wo wir vom Hausverwalter empfangen wurden. Dieser hat uns sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und am letzten Tag wieder verabschiedet und stand uns auch im Vorfeld per Mail bei allen Fragen zur Seite. Austattung war modern, alles was in der Anzeige stand, war vorhanden. Zum täglich selber kochen sind vielleicht ein bisschen wenige Utensilien vorhanden, aber wenn man sich einschränkt oder nur ab und zu kocht reicht das völlig aus. Umgebung super schön. Direkt erste Reihe mit Meerblick von der Terasse."
