The Space: ***ATTENTION IMPORTANT MESSAGE*** Due to recent events this property is now protected by cameras. The maximum capacity of the chalet is 10 people and no excess guests will be tolerated. Any person who does not respect the maximum capacity of the chalet risks immediate eviction without any refund.
Exceptional modern chalet located in Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides, 1 hour from Montreal, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains in the magnificent Laurentian region. Set on 100 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, this property will fiercely protect your privacy while offering a private spa, as well as a hiking trail connecting to public trails.
This extraordinary chalet has 4 bedrooms (the 4th bedroom is closed by curtains only, there are no doors) sleeps up to 10 with singles mattress in extra (3). The first floor, with its open-plan layout and 22-foot (6M) high ceilings, includes a fully equipped kitchen with large central island, a dining room, a living room with fireplace, a pool table, and a full bathroom including laundry room.
The mezzanine houses a living room, two bedrooms (one is the room closed by curtains only) and a large bathroom. The basement includes two bedrooms and a full bathroom.
WiFi Internet, BBQ gas and firewood are included, as is the brand-new spa, which can be used year-round. There, as the song says, "all is order and beauty, luxury, calm and pleasure".
In winter, as in summer, by car or from the chalet trail, you can visit the Centre de plein air L'Interval for a multitude of activities and access to Mont Kaaïkop. In summer, you'll also have access to Lac Legault: canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing and swimming for $20/adult and $15/child including equipment. A contribution of $7/adult and $3/child is required for access to the center's trails. In winter: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing (rental for $10) + same contribution for trail access.
Even mountain bikers can enjoy the L'Inter-Vals trail (medium difficulty level). A 38 km circuit between St-Donat and Ste-Agathe, it passes through the L'Interval outdoor center, a 9-minute drive from the chalet.
You can reach the snowmobile trails directly from the chalet!
Please note that in winter, a 4x4 vehicle is required to drive up the road to the chalet.

ℹ️ WINTER/SPRING ACCESS
For your comfort and safety, we strongly recommend a 4x4 vehicle with winter tires. Weather conditions and melting snow can sometimes make access temporarily tricky or even impossible by vehicle, especially for cottages with slopes, even with the appropriate equipment. Salt and gravel will be at your disposal.
Our team will be happy to assist you. As the local snow-clearer is a good company, we can contact him if necessary. This being said, please note that we are not responsible for natural conditions related to freeze-thaw cycles, nor for ice that may form on the hillside giving access to the chalet. Please plan your travel accordingly. 😊”

Surrounded by mountains, forests, and lakes, this location is ideal for a vacation in any season, with a multitude of activities to discover less than 40 minutes from the cottage.
The adventure begins as soon as you arrive: enjoy the hiking trails that pass right behind the cottage, such as those to Mont Kaikop (10 min) or Montagne Noire (15 min), for an exploration of the Laurentian landscapes. If you're looking for more of a challenge, Mont-Ouareau (30 min) and Mont Alta (10 min) offer hikes with spectacular views. Val-David Regional Park (30 min) is also nearby for a total immersion in nature.
Climbing enthusiasts will be delighted with the Val-David Regional Park (40 min), a site renowned for its rocks and walls ideal for outdoor climbing. Try the Via Ferrata at Tyroparc (32 min), an adventure where you'll climb rock walls equipped with cables and suspension bridges.
If you're looking to add some winter magic to your stay, don't miss the dog sledding experience at the Kanatha-aki Nature Activity Center (24 min), a typical Laurentians activity that will delight young and old alike. In winter, ski enthusiasts can head to La Réserve (22 min), a family ski resort in the heart of the forest.

Getting Around: ATTENTION WINTER: Good winter tires a must!
Please note that the driveway leading to the chalet is very long (500 meters/1650 feet) and slopes more or less steeply in places. In winter, a 4 X 4 vehicle is required to drive up to the chalet. We have a professional snow-clearing service and 2 parking spaces on the side of the road, as well as 2 more halfway up the driveway for those who can't make it all the way up.
The residence is located in the countryside, so there could be - despite the necessary measures put in place to prevent this - insects or small animals around or getting inside if doors and/or windows are left open.
Other Things to Note: A security deposit of $2000 is required as a pre-authorization on a credit card for all rentals made through Book, VR and our site.
Pet are welcome (with an additional cleaning fee of 100$+tx/chien).
To finalize the chalet reservation, we kindly ask for a copy of an official photo ID (such as a driver’s license, health card, or passport). Feel free to hide any confidential information — we just need to see your name and photo. Thank you very much for your cooperation!
Interaction with Guests: We interact very quickly with guests. Please note that this property has exterior security cameras overlooking the parking lot, the front door and the front balcony as well as decibel monitors to ensure that the maximum capacity of 10 people is respected as well as the correct number of travelers declared.
