Nancy & Jérôme welcome you to an exceptional 18th century mill full of character steeped in history & carefully restored (formerly a large "mill", of which the imposing "big wheel" remains perfectly visible on the courtyard side, several outbuildings as well as the "ruins" of the old miller's house, located well away from the gîte), partly rehabilitated into a peaceful holiday resort, nestled on the edge of pastures & meadows in the heart of a "mini" rural hamlet a stone's throw from the RCEA (direct, ultra-easy access to amenities or for all excursions). Atypical & totally exotic property, nestled in a "promontory" on the side of a south-facing hill, in the hollow of a bucolic valley of meadows crossed by the Guye (a small river full of fish which once fed the mill), sheltering the famous Charolais cows in season (grazing on the edge of the garden) as well as "Pequeno" the peaceful family pony parked on site. Very comfortable cottage. Literally mini loft in the countryside. Nice volume. Luminous. Warm contemporary character with an "industrial" spirit enhanced by the conservation of an old wall of stone foundations of the original building. Very charming. Cozy & cozy. Private exposed & shaded terrace (depending). Pleasant green and flowery garden (shared) housing a beautiful "panoramic" heated swimming pool (8x4m), a trampoline & a swing. Beautiful unobstructed view of the surrounding hilly countryside. Composition: Gîte adjoining the owners' home (total independence). Wifi (fiber). Wood central heating. Large duplex studio. Private terrace + parking. Garden shared with owners with heated swimming pool (8x4m), trampoline and swing. Amenities 8.5 km. Supermarket 9 km. Very comfortable "micro loft in the countryside" with a contemporary spirit nestled on a property steeped in history! Authentic character mill from the 18th century, completely rehabilitated & restored - with a beautiful 4x8m heated swimming pool - nestled in a mini rural hamlet in the heart of a bucolic "country corner", a stone's throw from the RCEA ( exit n°5 at 600m / ideal for easy travel), very close to the charming shopping towns of Buxy (picturesque medieval town located 8.5 km away) & Givry (located 11 km away), both with a very rich heritage , many amenities including supermarkets as well as an excellent level of sports & leisure facilities.
