You’re paying for the setting which is incredible and worth everything else. We were in the Joan of Arc annex which is not in the Mouton Blanc building and doesn’t have any of that character on the inside. In fact, besides the very unfortunate carpeting choice, the interior of the hotel room could be anywhere. The beds were very small and bedding was minimal. Not that comfortable. However, the room had an amazing sea breeze with bay view out one window and picturesque cemetery view out the other. Definitely the right move to come to Mont Saint Michele for a late dinner and enjoy exploring the island at sunset when there are fewer people and maximum spooky vibes for our teens. The church bells wake you at 8am. We saw the Abbey in the morning and then hit the road when the crowds descended.

Its was a great place to stay. Easy checking in and out process.

I wish I had a better stay at this hotel for the price I paid. It was only 1 night but the biggest problem was that I was not warned that everything was closed at 9pm. It didn't even crossed my mind as such a turistic place I thought It would be something to eat. Not even a vending machine at the hotel or the city. NOTHING. I found a pair of flipflops in the room, 1 under the bed which means they didn't clean or check properly. The hairdryer was not working but the team provided us another one. I think I could have a better time there cause it's not a cheap place to stay. And even if it was, for most of us it's a unique experience so it should hold better memories. It was not bad at all, but I'd only stay there again if there was the only place left.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Our room (7) was lovely - modern decor, great bathroom and amazing balconies over looking the beach. AC worked excellently in the hot weather (up to 38degc on k e of the days!). Staff super helpful and friendly throughout and the breakfast is all homemade and comes with a great view - well worth it. Location wise it is right on Prieure beach about 15min walk to the centre and the main beach which you can do on the coastal path. Restaurant on site is also excellent. Overall, excellent hotel and would definitely recommend it.
