  • The cabin is located within driving distance to many great adventures. It is located right off Hwy 65 in St. Joe, AR (middle section of Buffalo- which is usually floatable majority of summer). It is 2.8 miles from HWY 374 which takes you to BakerFord and Woolum access points of the Buffalo National River. Float the day away or hike a nearby trail. Try out the Kenda Drive In Theater in Marshall. There are many unique places close by that are well worth visiting- restaurants, flea markets, etc. Branson, MO and Mountain View, AR are both one hour away. Eureka Springs is 1.5 hours away.

    At the end of the day, after all your adventures come back to the cabin to relax. The open floor plan allows everyone to spend quality time together whether in the kitchen cooking or taking it easy in the living room. The cabin’s decor gives it a cozy feel. It comes fully equipped with all the necessities to make it feel like home away from home. It includes a washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker that has both carafe and k-cup, bed and bath linens, all the kitchen basics, a charcoal grill, and TV’s with Dish Network. No wifi available. Good cell phone reception. The cabin sleeps 12 people. It has 2 bedrooms that both have queen size beds. It has a bunk room that has 2 sets of full over full bunk beds (top bunks should only have one person and no one under the ago of 6 years old on top bunk). Use bunk beds at your own risk. A spiral staircase leads up to the loft overlooking the living room. The loft has 2 twin size beds. The cabin has 2 full bathrooms. The living room has a large sectional. There is an additional lounging area with a sofa. We have two tables for dining. One table has 8 chairs and the other table has 4 chairs. The cabin has a covered front porch. There is a fire pit with chairs and a picnic table outside. We have a number of board and card games available. Wake up and look out the windows to possibly catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Another cabin (Simply Buffalo) which sleeps 10 is located on the property about 100 yards away. It may also be available for rental if needed.

    -Absolutely No pets allowed or tolerated for any reason.

    -A motion detector security camera is located on the front porch facing the front door. It will remain on.

    -Please bring charcoal and firewood if desired.

    -No smoking or vaping

    -Dish Network on all TV's

    -No WiFi available

    -Good cell phone reception

    -Check in 4 PM

    -Check out 11 AM

    -Please let us know if any problems ASAP but keep in mind that no one lives on site 24/7

The main highway is right in front of property. A little dangerous but the inside was beautiful and they had basically everything that you would need. Heather was very helpful.

Nice place. Disappointed it was so close to highway 65. Stray dog took our water shoes and towels from front porch. Had to go retrieve them from a neighbor 2 doors down. Looks like dog comes around a lot so beware. Upstairs loft is very small - good for younger adults and teenagers. Place was well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing time at this property! The house was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, and a great outdoor space to relax.

This property was amazing. The interior of this space was the best by far!! My nephews thought this was the best place we have EVER stayed they talked about it even after we left....

Great getaway!

The house has a great open floor plan that allowed for our group to spend a lot of time together over the weekend. Laundry onsite, stocked kitchen, linens provided, made it super easy to have a good time!

This is a really nice place to stay. It’s super nice inside and everything was clean. Our kids enjoyed the games they offered and they have everything basic that you need for cooking!! We can’t wait to go back!!

Buffalo Float Trip

Mother’s Day weekend float trip. This house was amazing and spacious for our large group. Location was perfect for a Tyler Bend to Gilbert float. Host has great communication with renters.

Buffalo River Trip

This house is great for a group! Good location and easy to find. We floated with Buffalo River Outfitters near by and the house was in a convenient location going to and from take out points. Clean and well thought out down to even the small details. Definitely recommend!

The cabin is clean, stocked with plenty of amenities. Location is on the highway which to us was the only part we didn't care for. Other than that the location is between 2 towns that have plenty of shopping. Adventures were not far for hiking or kayaking.

Cabin is super clean. The kitchen was better stocked than we had anticipated, so we ended up not having to use most of the cookware we had brought. We did have one issue upon arriving, and the host was accessible, responsive, and more than accommodating. If you do go up to the loft, watch your head. Even though there is a sticker up there warning as much, I didn't see it until I had already bonked my head. Lesson learned. We will definitely want to stay here on our return visit to the Buffalo River.

There was a snafu with the water because of a broken line but the owner was easy to get a hold of and communicated well. There ended up being no impact on the trip because of the issue. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Great proximity to the river!
