    Chalet Carter is an OVO Network property. A newly-renovated five-bedroom, three-bathroom chalet for 11 (max 10 adults) spread over four floors and 198m2 of floor space.

    The OVO Network team’s opinion -

    The decor is bright, colourful and contemporary, and the gorgeous second lounge / TV room is a particular favourite with our team.

    The main lounge overlooks the huge side terrace and the views down the Thônes valley beyond. The second lounge / TV room means everyone can get their TV / gaming fix. Larger groups can spread out according to what they want to do - play or watch!

    Bedrooms are super stylish, with plenty of storage, very comfy beds, reading lights and phone charging points next to the beds.

    Sporty guests will appreciate the direct access to the ski storage from the parking, meaning wet sports kit can be offloaded downstairs as soon as they arrive back home. Outside, the panoramic views from the jacuzzi, on the south-facing terrace to the front of the chalet are peaceful and calm.

    Chalet Carter welcomes dogs: the garden to the rear of the chalet is enclosed, and there is a gate to close off the jacuzzi deck. The owners are dog lovers themselves; in fact, the chalet is named after a family pet.

    Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

    Please note: only one dog is allowed per stay. Owners must bring a cage to keep the dog in whilst they are out, or house the dog in the garage.



    The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up
    before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for
    up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Exceptionally well presented and a really good location - hot tub was a great addition - superb outdoor spaces ( not used to the full as the weather wasn’t the best ) everything we needed for a great week in France - Mandy our host was really flexible and incredibly helpful - would definitely recommend

Spacious and Family-Friendly Chalet

We loved everything about the chalet! Very convenient and spacious. We traveled with two young children, and it had everything we needed, which was amazing! The only downside is to not forget your soap and shampoo, as none are provided in the house. We will definitely be back!

Très beau chalet idéalement situé. À 10 minutes à pied de Saint-Jean-de-Sixt et de ses commerces, et à 5 minutes en voiture pour accéder aux pistes de ski du Grand-Bornand. Le chalet est chaleureux, joliment décoré, et le jacuzzi est le petit plus qui fait la différence.

An Idyllic Stay in a Stunning Location

Great week in a fantastic house in a beautiful location. The house is very well equipped and really spacious. The outlook is gorgeous. It is within easy traveling distance from Annecy and even easier to reach other parts of the lake. Could not have wished for a better stay.

Chalet Idéalement Situé pour un Séjour de Ski Parfait

Très bonne expérience dans ce chalet, qui dispose de tout ce que l'on peut souhaiter. Il permet de skier indifféremment au Grand Bornand ou à La Clusaz, tous deux situés à seulement 5 minutes en voiture. L'hôte et le service d'accueil sont très réactifs, avec des informations claires et détaillées.

Lovely little chalet, well equipped and easy location for the slopes

The chalet was well equipped, comfy beds and great for getting to la clusaz. We had two families staying with plenty of space for parking and within the house to not be too cramped. The hot tub was lovely after a hard day - the only complaint was it was a little small.A superbly equipped kitchen and the plenty of space. The showers always hot regardless of whether right of us showering in quick succession. Helpful book and guides in drawers etc.Bit of a long uphill into town, but that’s more of a reflection on our tired ski legs.Would absolutely book this place again and highly recommend it.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à 2 familles (10 personnes dont 6 ados). Le logement est spacieux avec les 5 chambres et 3 salles de douche. La cuisine est bien équipée et les ustensiles nombreux. La terrasse est agréable avec le bbq et le terrain de pétanque. Le jacuzzi est un plus mais nous l'avons finalement peu utilisé (il faisait très chaud). Un sentier permet d'accéder au centre du village (+/- 2km avec dénivelé positif de 95m) mais c'est en voiture que nous allions chercher le pain par facilité. La région offre de nombreuses activités en été des randonnées pour tous en terme de difficultés.

A Perfect Escape in the Heart of the Aravis

Everything about our holiday at Chalet Carter was wonderful. Before going, the initial help from OVO was friendly, kind, and everything you could have wanted. We were quickly put in touch with the chalet manager, who was amazing. She replied promptly to every question we asked, was extremely friendly both in person and via messages, and gave helpful suggestions. The chalet itself was gorgeous, with everything thought of—from fun activities like a boules court and table tennis, to a beautifully placed hot tub, and seating and loungers arranged to catch the sun from all angles. The furniture was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were lovely. Everything was as perfect as one could possibly wish for. We loved being on the edge of Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, where the views were exceptional and there were cycling and walking routes right from the door. Thank you so much to the owners, to Mandy the chalet manager, and to OVO.

Il est situé dans un cadre magnifique avec une vue sur les montagnes incroyable, le lieu est calme. C’est une propriété très spacieuse, bien équipée et bien décorée . La literie est très confortable. On s’y sent à l’aise, nous avons adoré.
