Maison Champeaux: house & gardens, peace & serenity in the Normandy countryside

Situated in the small village of Saint Fraimbault in the heart of the Orne countryside in Normandy bordering Brittany and Mayenne, making it a superb place to stay if you're visiting friends, visiting the local sights or just need to unwind in the stunning French countryside.

We are a moment away from a national cycle route if you’re on a cycling holiday and some of the most beautiful riding if you’re exploring on motorbike, with safe and secure storage for your bikes.

Our home is as eco as we could make it. An energy efficient heat pump, powered from solar panels, heats the hot water which is our own well water. The whole house runs on well water though we understand our guests will buy bottled water for consumption. You can relax in one of the private gardens around the house, and well behaved dogs are welcome. The surrounding fields often have livestock in them, so please be understanding of their welfare if you are considering bringing your dog to stay.

You will relax in the serene and tranquil French countryside, with dark skies at night - perfect for stargazing.
