Owners of horses parked on site, Françoise and Pascal open the doors to you of a charming country house of character from the beginning of the 20th century with elegant towers giving it a unique charm - family house carefully revisited as a gentle holiday resort - nestled in peace in the middle of the Clunisoise countryside, in the heart of a small rural hamlet perched on the southern hillside, well exposed, a stone's throw from the heart of the peaceful typical village of Saint-André-le-Désert (having the particularity of sheltering an unusual reproduction of the Grotto of Lourdes). Total tranquility nestled in the hollow of a magnificent hilly country setting, on the immediate edge of bocage & pastures under the wooded ridges of a vast wild forest massif (to be explored during relaxing walks or mountain bike rides). Setting & site 100% soothing, literal haven of peace & rest. Spacious comfortable cottage. Warm & exotic atmosphere of an old residence, a bit "vintage", partly revamped in a "chic country" spirit, combined with a beautiful heritage restoration (beams with French ceilings, imposing stone fireplace mantel, wooden framework... . of origin). Pleasant enclosed lawned, vegetated and flowery garden with a large exposed terrace & an "outdoor" relaxation area (sofas & armchairs). Very nice unobstructed view of the gentle surrounding countryside. Composition: Detached house neighboring the owners' house (total independence). Oil fired central heating. Duplex gîte (1st and 2nd floors) with access by outside staircase. 1st floor: kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms (double bed 140x190cm / 2 single beds 90x190cm), shower room (shower), separate toilet. 2nd floor: bedroom (double bed 140x190cm + 1 single bed 90x190cm). Small balcony + terrace + enclosed garden + bike room + private parking. Amenities 8 km (including supermarket). All amenities 17 km. Elegant country house of character (early 20th century), rehabilitated as a gentle holiday resort, nestled in a quiet setting in the heart of a peaceful little rural hamlet 8 km from the charming typical & commercial village of Saint-Bonnet-de-Joux (supermarket on site ) & 17 km from the famous abbey city of Cluny (all amenities on site). Total tranquility in the middle of the hilly countryside, neighboring the bucolic valley of the Guye, in the hollow of a magnificent preserved setting of nature & greenery, between verdant Charolais bocage & deep forests, adjoining a vast protected area in "Zone Natura 2000" for its rich ecosystem. Prime location, a stone's throw from the Romanesque church circuit, on the route of many marked hiking trails (very rich network of approved "green walks" hiking trails to explore the territory), 5 km from the GR7, 8 km a referenced "favorite bike loop" of 27 km (another route of the same type of 63 km accessible at 17 km), 12 km of the first vineyards of the Mâconnais & the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne" (not far from the junction with the Côtes Chalonnaises), 17 km of the greenway & 22 km of a marked cycle route connected to EuroVélo6.
