In the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, perched in another world, your panoramic retreat—nestled on a small plateau—allows you to gaze in awe at the sheer cliffs of Les Goulets, the depth of the Cirque de Léoncel stretching as far as the eye can see, or the tranquility of the small orchard home to magnificent trees, as well as three llamas, a horse, and a sheep.

You’ll find yourself immersed in nature, in the heart of an orchard, in a small, peaceful hamlet on the heights of Pont-en-Royans, just a few hundred meters from where your hosts—Lionel, Myriam, and their three daughters—live. Your retreat offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding countryside through its huge floor-to-ceiling windows!

Here, a delightful blend of the serenity of the Vercors Isérois mountains and the joie de vivre of the south—right at the gateway to the Drôme—reigns supreme. From the hanging houses of Pont-en-Royans to the high plateaus of the Vercors Massif and the depths of the Choranche Caves, immerse yourself in the heart of a nature and adventure destination, just steps away from iconic sites. Quite simply, a place where life is good!

Your cabin features all the amenities you need in a perfectly optimized 14 square meters:

* Queen-size bed 160x200 (sleeps 2)
* Convertible sofa (sleeps 1 additional person)
* Fully equipped kitchen - Living room
* Walk-in shower and eco-friendly (dry) toilet
* Heating: gas stove
* Ceiling and portable fans to keep you cool
* Outdoor furniture (except in winter): table, chairs, lounge chairs, and grill
* Soap, towels, and sheets provided
* Condiments provided
* Drinking water provided in a 5-liter container: Do not drink the tap water, which is supplied by a cistern and is used for showers and washing dishes
* Cleaning included
* Free parking space
* No Wi-Fi
* Travel crib available upon request: It is not possible to unfold both the convertible sofa and a travel crib at the same time

Optional: Lionel and Myriam offer appetizer platters, regional dishes, breakfast, and various sweet treats upon request (more information further down in the listing)

GOOD TO KNOW:

The “Le Perchoir du Vercors” tiny house is completely self-sufficient: electricity is generated by solar panels, the kitchen and heating run on gas, and water is stored in a tank. You’ll have all the usual comforts, but the idea behind alternative living is also to become more mindful of your consumption!

As a result, a few rules apply:

1) To conserve energy, please do not plug in any electrical appliances other than cell phones and laptops

2) Please do not change the stove settings (except for the temperature)

3) It is strictly prohibited to change the settings on the water heater in the bathroom

4) Since the tiny house is equipped with a phytopurification system (a natural process for filtering wastewater using various semi-aquatic plants), you are asked to use only the 100% natural products provided for your stay (including the soap and dish soap, labeled “Nature et Progrès”).

Pets are not allowed (sorry to your four-legged—or fewer-legged—friends)
