"The type of room we booked wasn’t available at check-in. The hotel didn’t bother to notify us but did manage to send us an email about the parking fee. The hotel did put us in another type of room, but the sense was the hotel staff knew we couldn’t cancel. If we did we’d lose our money, so take it or leave it."

"Honestly, the WORST two days I’ve ever spent in a hotel. Upon my arrival, the room smelled AWFUL. There’s absolutely no ventilation in the room or the bathroom, so the possibility of mold and mildew growing in the room is highly likely. I immediately felt the urge to start taking pictures because the room's conditions were so unsanitary. I arrived back at the hotel late at night on my second night. "This is a very simple hotel but I did not lack anything. Everything was very clean. The room was large with a regular side fridge and small burners. The staff is super nice! Right on I35."

"Staff was AMAZING!!! Breakfast was nice. Hotel was hot... room just felt humid. Not what I expected for a Marriott hotel. Kind of old and run down...more like a nice 2 star hotel....def not a 3 or 4 star. Walls had been patched up...not very well, mold in shower, phones in room didn't work...they were super old. 10 for parking ... generally only hotels downtown in the city require you to pay for parking, I'm used to paying for parking when parking is limited but not when there's a full parking...

"This is a good hotel for like a one to two night stay. The Staff was very friendly! The rooms (specifically the beds) were made up nice but the Bathroom could’ve used a little love. The floors were clean but the smell was sorta unpleasant. Overall 7/10 stay."

"Both rooms we were in smelled musty. Not enough towels for 4 of us. Pool had green algae in some areas and didn’t have pool towels. When we asked we were told they hadn’t been washed. Staff was friendly and tried their best, but hotel is just rundown. Owners need to do a better job at overall maintenance. Breakfast was a nice addition and restaurant next door was good."
