Overnattede 3 nætter under hedebølgen med åbent vindue (der ikke kunne låses). Værelse og ejendommen generelt var nedslidt og trænger kraftigt til en renovering. Vandskade i loftet, ramme omkring badekar revnet, tæppe slidt, beskidt og hullet. Generelt ingen faciliteter på stedet. Ingen tømning af skraldespand eller lignende let rengøring. Hver dag fra eftermiddag til ca kl 21.30 fra restauranten og gårdhaven blev der spillet samme melodi af typen light jazz instrumental. Vildt irriterende, at høre den melodi igen og igen. Personalet talte meget dårligt asiatisk-engelsk. Et plus dog. Tæt på Metro og dermed Birmingham indre by.

Hotel needs updating , decor is very dated . The bar and restaurant is very nice and modern but rest of the hotel needs an update.
