PRIVATE HOT TUB; BEAUTIFUL DECK WITH MOUNTAIN VIEW AND ABUNDANT WILDLIFE. There is a circular drive-in front as well as level parking right off the road in front of our sign. We own the lots on both sides of the cabin....so you'll never feel crowded .WOODBURNING FIREPLACE, PRIVATE HOT TUB . TOWER FANS & CEILING FANS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING. WE HAVE ADDED A HOTEL TYPE AC & heat unit to the main living area! This will cool down the kitchen, living, dining area , hall bathroom and help with cooling the bedrooms! Nights in Ruidoso are cool but there are plenty of fans to add to your comfort. Three Roku - televisions.
We do allow dogs, maximum of 2, by approval. Pet fee applies, per dog. Must be housebroken & DO NOT GET ON BEDDING OR FURNITURE. If evidence that a dog has been on bedding or furniture, additional cleaning fees apply. The Ruidoso area has so much to offer! An abundant choice of restaurants, numerous golf courses, snow skiing, breathtaking mountain scenery, shopping(many unique shops), horse racing, The new ALPINE SLIDE for fun on the mountains in summertime! Las Vegas style gambling , multiple places to hike, go karts, activities for the entire family. Our just sit on the deck, take in the beautiful mountains & wildlife, sip on your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings.What's not to love?
The people are among the friendliest you will find. That's why people keep returning year after year. You won't find a cleaner or better kept property, we don't believe! We have an excellent housekeeper and make it a priority to have top-notch bedding. We've worked hard to have a high rating on our reviews and will continue to do so! And.....we appreciate every single one! Please check road and weather conditions when traveling in winter months. Ruidoso is a mountainous area....and snow chains or 4 wheel drive is recommended in snowy seasons. We have central heat and ceiling fans, tower fans for cooling at the cabin.

Extra person charge applies for more that 4 guests. Maximum guests 6. It's never too early to book for summers or holidays. Nice, comfortable property. Hot tub was OK. Master bed not that comfortable. Other beds seemed OK. Roku TV worked great with my streaming subscriptions. Poor kitchen water pressure. We enjoyed our stay. It is a convenient location. I had stayed there about 15 years ago when owners first bought the property. It hasn't changed much. Thanks for hosting.

A very comfortable, pleasant, and cozy cabin. We had a wonderful stay. On one afternoon, three mule deer casually strolled through the backyard feeding. They hung out next door for a few hours. The water heater went out on us during our stay, and the host was extremely responsive and friendly. The host offer us a couple options to help make things right. We decided stay at a sister property (also comfortable and recommended), and the host issued us a partial refund for the troubles. We had a wonderful trip. I’d book at the Lazy N again in a heartbeat, and you should too.

Cute little cabin in the woods met all our expectations for a quick shopping get away with a friend! The cabin was comfortable and well appointed with basic supplies and everything we needed. The hot tub was excellent and we very much enjoyed the back deck area for morning coffee and evening sunsets and deer watching! The cabin could use a good deep cleaning and some modernizing, but overall was a great place to stay and more than met our needs!

We had such a fantastic stay! The cabin was in a great location and was minutes to anything in the city. We had numerous deer around the cabin almost daily, saw/heard elk around, and the birds were nice. We traveled to White Sands NP, Lincoln, and drove up the mountain to Ski Apache. Great views! The cabin had everything we needed and more. Watching the mountain sky in the evening/night from the hot tub is always a favorite activity to see satellites and military planes flying around. When we do return to Ruidiso, we would definitely stay here again if the host would have us.

We really enjoyed our week at this cozy but huge log cabin. Three bedroom and 2 baths was ample for us and our adult children. We enjoyed the wonderful hot tub and sitting on the back porch just relaxing in this beautiful haven. We would definitely book again. Thank you!

Great place

If you are looking for a place to stay in Ruidoso this is it. The cabin is so nice , the kitchen is full of cookware, dishes and everything you need We stayed on the deck a lot and watched the deer, wild horses, hummingbirds and elk. It’s close to town and grocery store. Your hostess is amazing. If you ave question she answers right away and so nice. We had an amazing trip. And would definitely go back

Great destination to relax

Depending on time of year, guests should be warned about lack of central a/c. Common toiletries, usually present in hotels would be nice. Lighting in kitchen was dismal.Janelle, property owner was available for calls and texts and was very responsive as needed. We loved see the wildlife.

Very Cozy!

This cabin is beautiful! It was so cozy and just a great cabin-y feel! Absolutely perfect for my husband and I and our 3 boys. The views were beautiful and we saw plenty of wildlife! Overall, we had a great time here, it’s spacious, cozy and allowed us to create such beautiful memories with the kids!
