    With an open floor concept, the living room flows seamlessly into the fully equipped kitchen! Effortlessly whip up your favorite dishes before gathering at the 4-person table or patio furniture for a quality meal.

    When you're in need of some peace and quiet, retreat to either bedroom's plush queen bed for a tranquil slumber. Linens and towels are provided during your stay, so you don't have to worry about bringing them along!

Mountain Gem

The booking, directions and access were straight forward. We arrived to a clean and welcoming stay. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the proximity to town and White Sands.

The house itself is in great shape! Everything we needed was there and more. Although the house is only a 2 bed/1 bath it doesn’t feel small, very roomy and in a great scenic location. Only thing to keep in mind is the driveway is steep so beware. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice Vacation Rental

It's a good place to stay to relax. We enjoyed the covered deck and the books to read. The driveway is a bit too steep, but the online description was accurate, so we were not disappointed.

In God’s Presence

Everything was just right for us. The house, the location and of course, the views were amazing. We hardly left the house. From the moment we arrived till the time we left, we felt God’s presence the entire stay!

This was a great getaway I rented last minute!! It turned out true to advertisement!!

Incredible Mountaintop Home

Extremely clean, calming wonderfully decorated home with incredible views of Ruidoso’s mountains. Mornings on the front porch watching the sun come out were rivaled only by evenings watching the infinity of the night sky. The home has wonderful features inside and out that made for a wonderful early summer stay. The owners were wonderful to work with, and made sure that our stay met every expectation. Can’t wait to come back!

Awesome Home

This home is so inviting! We enjoyed playing cards and having meals on the patio where the view is amazing. We liked opening the windows inside to the let the fresh air in while we watched playoff hockey. This home had everything needed and was our central place from the activities we had planned. We enjoyed it very much!

Great Little Getaway

We checked in mid-week & the house was cute & very clean! It is in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of deer & elk roaming around! (Extra fun for my kids to see!) I would highly recommend this home to anyone who's looking for a mountain home to rent.

Wonderful stay! Great host

We decided last minute to get away for the weekend. We are so glad we did! The house was great. Super cozy and very clean. House is conveniently located. Although there were other houses around, it seemed very private and quiet. If you’re looking to get away Highly recommend! Margie was a great host!

An Awesome Getaway

The owners of Piney Woods West were very friendly and helpful in answering all our questions in a timely manner. The house had everything we needed and was very roomy, comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend this rental house to anyone that's planning a visit to Ruidoso. NM. The Hayeses OK USA

Very Nice

We really enjoyed our stay. The views were wonderful. Driveway is quite steep so we parked our motorcycles at the bottom, aside from that it was very pleasant.

Nice and clean

Place was clean and fully stocked kitchen that even had a stand mixer. Bring your own toilet paper as they use 1 ply (yuck) Other than that it was perfect! We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the deer who came up and the cool weather. Steep driveway. Quiet neighborhood.

Great comfy, clean house

My family and I stayed over the weekend and we really loved the house very nice, comfortable and what I liked the most very clean. The house has nice personal details in its decor and that is something we appreciated. We also liked that it had everything, from pots and pans to extra blankets and pillows. Truly enjoyed our stay, it has a great view into the mountains and some deer were around, it was nice to see them upclose. Highly recommended.

Not satisfied

Cannot sleep as many people as listed. Check out time is to early cuz you have to get up really early to do everything on the list. It really takes away from a weekend getaway.
