Worthwhile destinations in the immediate vicinity include Lake Chiemsee (30 km), the Salzburg Hellbrunn Zoo (approx. 35 km), or the Salzkammergut (approx. 60 min). Lake Königssee in Berchtesgaden is also a popular destination. If you’re traveling with children, a visit to the Fairy Tale Park in Ruhpolding is definitely worth it.
