"Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality."

"The room was very clean and the staff were excellent. However, it was a tiny room with barely enough room to walk around the bed. The lighting above the sink in the bathroom was very poor. Extremely dim. Location was very good, very central."

"The room was modern and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the breakfast staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. However, the shower water pressure was extremely weak—more like a gentle trickle than a proper shower. As someone with long hair, I found myself spending nearly twice as long showering as usual. After the first night, I mentioned the issue to the front desk and asked whether it might be possible to change rooms. They told me a technician...

"Location can’t be beat. Right in the heart of the shops and cafes, steps from the Opera and a short walk to the university. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful, providing recommendations and tips for best navigating the area. Be mindful that it’s located in a pedestrian-only part of the city, so it will be a short walk to pickup a taxi or uber. Absolutely would stay here again."

"The hotel is exceptionally well-maintained, clean, and conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the train station. A tram stop adjacent to the hotel provides easy access to the old town, significantly reducing travel time from a 25-minute walk, and also offers convenient access to the airport. Our room, though compact, featured a comfortable bed and tasteful decor. Breakfast was satisfactory."

"What a great find. Beautiful, clean and real super helpful. I was even allowed to park my car right outside the hotel doors so they could keep an eye on it. Nice mini bar in room, comfortable bed, AC and in the centre of it all. Top marks"
