"Das Hotel war insgesamt sauber. Das Zimmer zwar recht klein, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok. Allerdings war der Aufenthalt nicht besonders einladend: Auf dem Flur roch es durchgehend unangenehm nach Zigarettenrauch. Das Frühstück war leider eine herbe Enttäuschung – sehr lieblos und qualitativ schlecht. Aufgrund des schlechten Frühstücks und des Geruchs im Flur würde ich hier nicht noch einmal buchen."

"Could be my favourite hotel. Ever. The staff(owners) are lovely. Gave a tour of the wine cellar which was SPECTACULAR! Like a cathedral. The decor was brilliantly done. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated w all new fixtures. The garden patio was out of a movie. Beds were king size and perfect. I have never stayed in a hotel with more attention to detail. And the town is the most perfect medieval town I have seen in France. We had dinner at Henri IV square...

"Bij een Ibis Budget-hotel kun je niet veel verwachten, maar vergeleken met andere Ibis-budget-hotels was dit wel even slikken. De kamer had duidelijk onderhoud nodig en was erg vies. Zelfs het bloed zat op de gordijnen. Vroegtijdig vertrokken."

"Wow Bruno the host, what a guy! I have to speak of him first. I had only an over night stay but i was meeting a place that didn’t land until 6pm the next day so Bruno allowed me to use the garden an the pool, provided me with a towel an a bathroom to use an even hand delivered me fresh coffee. Also offered me beer on arrival but I had my own. The room was spotless on arrival, it breakfast just right the croissant were fresh a flaky a the apricots hand picked yummy. "The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant was good. However there is nothing else around. We were on our way to La Rochelle and it was a good stop off point for one night. Staff were helpful and very pleasant. Parking very easy and just of the autoroute"

"We only stayed for 1 night, but I would have loved to stay longer. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the restaurant and bar were great, food was amazing, prices were on par with area. We booked the room with sofa beds that sleep six. We are a family of 5 and were greeted to all 5 beds being prepared for us. A much appreciated gesture after a full day at Parc Asterix. Also very close to the Parc Asterix and CDG."

"I booked because it was closed to the airport and the gardens sadly the gardens were closed. Paid for an upgrade to a room with a view instead but sadly the Aircon was leaking. It was good enough but pricier than other more budget options and not sure it's worth the difference. Nice enough and convenient for the airport and the gardens...when they're open"

"I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens."
