Toscana: Modern duplex at the hearth of Rouen

Welcome to Toscana, our charming 45m² duplex, renovated with all our heart in January 2022.
Located in the historic center of Rouen, in a typical half-timbered building, it will be the ideal location to discover our city "with 100 bell towers".
Less than 5 minutes walk from the train station and close to all the Strategies points of the city, whether for a tourist or professional stay, Tuscany will offer you all the calm and comfort you will need.
The space
Our duplex is located more precisely at the foot of the charming Place du Vieux Marché, steeped in history, where today's architecture blends with the city of yesteryear.

At present, there are many restaurants, cafes, 1 supermarket (closing at 10 p.m.), 1 supermarket (Intermarché at the foot of the building, closing at 9 p.m.) but also the emblematic covered market of Rouen "Le Marché des Halles ", including a greengrocer, a fishmonger and his famous oyster bar, a cheesemonger, a delicatessen and many more... open every day from 7 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., except Mondays.

Despite the frenzy of the lively center, the Toscana is nestled in a building overlooking the roofs of Rouen, sheltered from noise, perfect for resting or working.

Access to the building is secured with badge.
Like any building of the time, you will have to climb a few steps to reach your cozy nest. No elevator then, but don't worry, the optical fiber for a broadband connection faster than time is nevertheless installed and at your disposal =)

The decoration, the furniture as well as all the equipment of this duplex have been chosen with care so that you feel at best there.

With a maximum capacity of 2 people, the Toscana is composed as follows:

KITCHEN :

- A functional kitchen open to the living room, fully equipped (fridge, freezer, convection oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, SMEG kettle, Italian coffee maker, etc... )

You will be provided with all the utensils, dishes and crockery necessary to satisfy your desires to cook, from breakfast to dinner.


LIVING ROOM :

- A large living room with a lounge area for lazing around (sofa, designer coffee table, comfortable plaid, reading armchair, pouf, ambilight connected TV with Netflix included)
an office area for the more studious, facing the roofs of Rouen with: ergonomic chair, lamp, and PC socket,
a dining area for your breakfasts or meals on the go with: 60cm diameter table + 2 chairs

BEDROOM :

- A suite equipped with a Queen size bed (160x200 cm)
- A dressing room to deposit your personal belongings

Bed linen, duvet and pillows will be provided for your stay.

BATHROOM :

- A bathroom with Italian brass fittings Treemme, bathtub (170 x 70), designer towel dryer, hair dryer, straightener.

As in the hotel, bath and hand towels, bath mats and bathrobes will be included in your stay (1 large bath towel + 1 towel + 1 bathrobe will be provided per person).

The duplex is NON-SMOKING.

LET'S BE RESPECTFUL TOWARDS OUR DEAR NEIGHBOURS, BUT ALSO TO PRIVILEGE THE PEACE AND WELL-BEING OF YOUR STAY:
In order to respect the neighborhood, noise must be limited between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. No festive event will be tolerated within the accommodation. In the event of non-compliance with the internal regulations, we reserve the right to immediately terminate the rental lease and to activate the bank guarantee in the event of overflows or damage. Thank you for your understanding.
Guest access
The accommodation is located on the 3rd and last floor, without elevator.

WARNING, the apartment does not have a parking space, but many parking spaces are available nearby. The pay-per-view video-surveillance underground car parks at the Vieux Marché and Place de la Pucelle, and the Espace du Palais car park, located a 2-minute walk away, will welcome you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Other things to note
Our safety for all is the priority, which is why we have worked on a complete health protocol in agreement with the ARS so that your stay with us takes place in the most perfect respect of health safety rules:

• Systematic disinfection of accommodation
• Wearing a mask and applying hydroalcoholic gel when entering and leaving the premises
• Respect for barrier gestures

An inventory of fixtures and inventory of equipment will be carried out when you leave.

We will make ourselves available by phone (sms, whatapps etc) and will be happy to accompany you throughout your stay so that you can have a wonderful time in our beautiful Normandy.

Arrival: Reception guaranteed between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Departure: Between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.

In case of late check-in or late check-out, a supplement of 20€ will be payable.
