Located on the first floor of a quiet four-apartment building, Évasion 2 welcomes you to the heart of Rouen, on the charming Rue Orbe, just a few steps from the famous cathedral and all the city's tourist attractions.

As soon as you enter, you will be charmed by the parquet flooring and the beautiful natural light that floods the space. The living room has been designed as a cosy yet elegant cocoon. It offers a 160 cm double bed with comfortable bedding for peaceful nights, as well as a high table ideal for sharing a meal for two or working in a pleasant setting. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook as you would at home, with everything you need at your fingertips: hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and crockery.

When it's time to relax, sink into the comfort of a two-seater spa bath, perfect for a moment of relaxation for two. The carefully decorated bathroom features an artistic statue, a vanity unit, a modern and practical walk-in shower and a toilet.

Nestled in one of the liveliest and most picturesque areas of Rouen, Évasion 2 is the ideal place for a romantic getaway, a sightseeing trip or a relaxing weekend. Everything has been designed to make you feel at home. Check-in is independent for greater flexibility and discretion. For your security, a camera has been installed in the common areas.

Bed linen and towels are provided in the accommodation for your comfort.
There is no private parking available with the accommodation. However, you can park your vehicle in the streets surrounding the accommodation according to the city's parking rates. The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 21:00. We thank you for taking care of the accommodation and respecting the premises and the neighbourhood. To this end, you will be asked to provide your bank details via a secure link in order to finalise your booking and obtain the access codes for the accommodation.

## Neighbourhood

Rue d'Orbe in Rouen is located in a historic and lively part of the city, close to the city centre and many points of interest. The neighbourhood around Rue d'Orbe is ideally located for exploring Rouen on foot. You are just a few minutes' walk from the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Place du Vieux-Marché (where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake), and the charming cobbled streets of the historic centre.

Rouen is known for its medieval heritage and half-timbered facades. The Rue d'Orbe neighbourhood exudes history with its old buildings, cobbled streets and authentic atmosphere that perfectly reflects the charm of Normandy.

The neighbourhood is full of shops, artisan bakeries, cafés and restaurants offering local and international cuisine. The Marché des Emmurées is not far away, offering fresh produce several days a week.

Although close to the bustle of the city centre, Rue d'Orbe itself enjoys a more peaceful atmosphere. It is a pleasant place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping streets yet close to tourist attractions.

## Transport

The neighbourhood around Rue d'Orbe in Rouen is well served by public transport, making it a convenient starting point for travelling throughout the city and beyond.

The TEOR (Transport Est-Ouest Rouennais) network connects different parts of the city. The main lines (T1, T2, T3) pass close to the city centre, just a few minutes' walk from Rue d'Orbe. Nearest station: The Théâtre des Arts station is located about a 10-minute walk from Rue d'Orbe.


Rouen has an extensive bus network operated by the Astuce service, which covers the entire city and metropolitan area. Several bus lines run near Rue d'Orbe, making it easy to get to other neighbourhoods quickly. Nearby bus routes: Among the most accessible routes from Rue d'Orbe are lines F1, F2, F7, 5, and 11, which serve the main destinations in the city. These buses also provide connections to the outskirts of Rouen and other residential and university neighbourhoods.

Rouen Rive Droite train station is located about a 15-20 minute walk from Rue d'Orbe. This is the city's main station and offers connections to Paris (about a 1 hour 20 minute train ride), Le Havre, Caen, and other cities in Normandy. If you are planning trips outside of Rouen, the proximity of the train station is a significant advantage.

In summary, Rue d'Orbe offers very convenient access to Rouen's public transport network, whether by bus, TEOR, or bicycle. This makes it easy to get around, whether you want to explore the city centre or travel to other parts of the metropolitan area.

Arrivals are flexible for greater convenience. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 11am.

Accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10am to 9pm). All guests are provided with bed linen, essential items for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) and a large towel per person, along with tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with a kitchen bin bag, bathroom bin bag, sponge and dishwasher liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel change, replenishment of essential items, or delivery can be arranged on request at an additional cost. When you confirm your stay, you will receive the ArchiDuchesse tourist booklet, our tips with promotional codes for our selected partners, and the arrival instructions for your accommodation.

Enjoying your rental also means respecting a few rules to ensure that everything goes smoothly and to avoid any surprises with the deposit! Please treat the accommodation as you would your own home: avoid damage, respect the furniture and leave the premises clean when you leave. Follow the instructions regarding times and use of equipment, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. Please remember that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 will be deducted from the deposit), the property is non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless requested and agreed in advance by us, and any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value.
