Your serene escape - Modern, cozy, and close to the beach.


  • Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee by the pool while gazing upon the peaceful canal and basking in the warm Florida sun. If that doesn't sound good enough, the beach is only a 15 minute drive from your cozy getaway.

    The house harbors laminate flooring throughout, with all new modern furniture. Our 3 bedrooms can easily accommodate an entire family. Our two full baths means that there won't be any fighting over shower time. The property is equipped with 3 flat screen TVs. Our breakfast nook has a nice pool/canal view with just the right amount of sun in the morning. The den area is perfect for hanging out at any time during the day. Our dining room table comfortably seats 6, and our kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The barbecue outside is perfect for grilling up vegetables, meats or even ribs. If you don't feel like cooking, there is an array of good restaurants around.

    What is there to do?

    Besides the obvious beach outing, there is plenty of golf to be played. Our home is surrounded by 5 golf courses. If golf isn't your thing, you can take a leisurely stroll around the friendly neighborhood and enjoy all the wildlife or just relax and observe it from the backyard. If the kids are itching for more entertainment, Disney World is an approximate 2 hour drive. Want to head over to the white sand beach of Clearwater? That's a little less than two hours as well. Rotonda West, is situated in the heart of it all with plenty to do.

    At the end of the day, you can cozy up on our patio outside and wind down with a good book and a glass of wine or take a late night dip in the pool, screened with insects mesh to keep them away.

    So come join us for a getaway from everyday life and pop open that bottle of wine included with your rental and relax.

Very clean, quite home. We really enjoyed the wildlife and sitting around the pool. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive. Excellent stay!

The house had everything we needed for a great 9-night stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and we appreciated having the cooler and beach chairs to use. The weather was fantastic during our stay, so we took full advantage of the pool. There was a small hot tub as well, but we didn't use it. Nice location close to several beaches, restaurants, and shopping.

Sehr schönes Haus, komplett eingerichtet, auch Salz, Pfeffer, Kaffeefilter, Waschmittel und co. Mega bequeme Betten, toller Pool mit Aussicht! Haben zwei Tage ein Alligator im Kanal gesehen! Gute Kommunikation mit Narcisa! Haben den Aufenthalt genossen und können es nur weiterempfehlen!!

Comfortable non "touristy" destination

Very clean and comfortable with everything that was needed for our stay. Good sandy beaches within easy distance, plenty of excellent restaurants relatively close by. We have been visiting Rotonda over many years and enjoy it because it is not too "touristy"

Great stay. Great host house was very clean and fully stocked. Beaches were closed almost everyday do to the horrible damage from HELENE so we spent a lot of time at the pool and it was fabulous. Nice location easy to get around.

Early Dec 2019 getaway

Property was in excellent condition and contained all amenities that were needed for a relaxing vacation. Location was away from the busy cities but still close enough for day trips when the mood hit us. Very nice beaches were close by. Really enjoyed the vacation and hated to leave.

Amazing vacation home

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was a great location close to many beaches where we found lots of shark teeth and shells. Host was easy to communicate with and very friendly. We would highly recommend staying here and would stay again in the future.

Get away with daughter and grandson

We have stayed in this area before and were very pleased with this property. We went to the different beaches and ate at many of our favorite places. My grandson improved his swimming skills. We all loved sitting on the dock by the canal. Great place and location.

Relaxing beach family vacay

Beautiful house and property! We spent our time in the pool, on the beach and in the backyard fishing and watching the birds and turtles. We loved the close proximity to beaches, restaurants and shops. Owner is ver friendly and communicative.

Nice place

The kitchen was really very well appointed, better than any other place that we've rented. So for those who cook a lot-which we did, it was great. The house itself is great-has everything you need and then some. The host was also great to work with. Would stay again if need to be in that area.

We loved the house and the pool. Canal was wonderful and we seen lots of wildlife. Even an alligator in the canal. Clean house and enjoyed a free bottle of wine. If we return to the area we will stay again. Thank you so much for the great experience

Wonderful vacation

The home was very lovely and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the patio and the pool. The host was wonderful, responded immediately to any question we had. But there weren't many because everything was exceptional. Plenty of restaurants and two beautiful beaches within minutes of the home. Looking forward to returning again.

Great, quiet location close to lots

My husband, three teens and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house is peaceful to come “home” to after golfing and visiting beautiful beaches. The heated pool and hot tub were wonderful and the canal was fun to watch for wildlife. The home is stocked with pool toys, beach chairs, and we played a lot of ping pong in the garage. We also used the blow up volleyball net in the pool for a few games. Would recommend staying here for sure!

Quiet Florida Get-Away

We totally recommend this property and owner to people wanting a nice quiet place to stay not far from the beach on Don Pedro Island. Rotonda West is near the town of Englewood which is quiet/ not crowded at all. Traffic is light. 45-50 min to University Mall in Sarasota. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing!

A great place to stay

To start with, the host was fantastic!! She could not have been nicer. She checked in a couple of times during our two week stay. Always making sure everything was okay and checking to see if we needed anything. Do not hesitate to stay here. Beautiful area and the restaurants were all amazing. The only downfall was that some of the beaches were still closed due to the hurricane. We loved our stay and hope to return next spring. Thanks again to our wonderful host!
