Enjoyed our stay, property was as advertised. Quiet, comfortable neighborhood, and host was prompt with all communications.

The property is a nice place to stay. It is equip with everything you may need to feel at home. Communication with owner was pleasant and professional. There were a few things, I brought to the attention of the owner Mo. Not things that make me not want to rent again. Even thou it says sleeps four ,which was what my stay was...I think its a cozy place for couples,very private.Thank you Mo!!

Overall, the home was nice and worked well for my family. I was surprised to be charged an additional fee for my children since the listing said the home sleeps four. This was the first time I've experienced an extra person charge for children.The biggest issue was the cleanliness. I was told the cleaning crew spent three hours preparing the home, but there was pet hair everywhere when we arrived, on the couch, carpets, sheets, shower, sinks, dressers, and other surfaces. I requested another cleaning the next day, but it still wasn't thoroughly cleaned. It seemed like only a few areas were spot cleaned, and I ended up vacuuming during our stay.Unfortunately, this became more than just an inconvenience. Two of my sons are allergic to pets, and my 5-year-old's allergies became so severe that I had to take him to the hospital. My oldest son sat on the couch wearing a black shirt and got up covered in pet hair. We also noticed spider webs around the refrigerator and under the kitchen cabinets.When I checked out, I saw a dog outside next door, which appears to be the owners' home, and I believe that's where the pet hair may have come from. The property itself is nice, but it needs a thorough deep cleaning between guests, especially for families with allergies.

Ronkonkoma garage apartment

Cute little apartment with loft bedroom. Worked OK for us, but stairs a little steep and narrow for physically impaired. Apartment was adequate, but slightly smaller than expected. The one bathroom is upstairs, so if you have additional guests downstairs, they have to come through the upstairs bedroom/loft to use the bathroom. Main issue was the cleanliness of the unit. Lots of hair (dog hair on the couch and human hair on the floor) was left. Appears like they started to clean up, but never finished. Dishes in the dishwasher were kind of clean, but still wet. Seems like the the dishwasher was run, but never emptied so there was a bit of an odor. We just re-washed the dishes. Location was good and owner was great with communication.
