I was concerned about my room being on the annex building because people complained about noise and trash cans, but it worked out perfectly. The building was a few steps from the hotel, had its own entrance, and access was very convenient. It felt like entering your own apartment. There’s no elevator but the stairs are wide and the rooms are on the second floor - so one set of stairs (not a big deal). Location is perfect. Bus stop around the corner, ice cream shop, coffee bar, and other convenience stores a few steps away. The view from our room was amazing. Our room had two windows that opened to the street. It is a transited street, so there’s a bit of noise during the day, but it’s very quiet at night. The room itself was clean, comfortable. It even had a kitchenette with a mini fridge. Bathroom was big with walk-in shower.
The second floor of the annex building belongs to the hotel, so it’s separate from the tenants. In fact, you hardly see them. In the morning, there’s a station with pastries and coffee for guests and a courtyard where you could sit down and eat if you wished. Breakfast is served at the hotel for a fee. Overall, a great experience and would definitely stay here again when in Rome. Location is perfect, we walked to Termini, the Monti neighborhood, Trevi fountain, Pantheon and coliseum from here.
Special thanks to the ladies at the front desk, who were very helpful with checking us in and provided us with recommendations on where to go eat, etc. 💚Roma
