This Rome Colosseum Vacation Rental is located a stone's throw of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. It is ideal for large families or group of people. The living room with the sitting area allows guests to have a rest after a long day spent outside visiting monuments or shopping. The apartment has a washing machine, clothes dryer and a safe.

Rome Colosseum Vacation Rental is located on a 6th floor in a building with elevator and it is made up as of 2 bedrooms with a king size bed each, 1 triple bedroom (1 king size + a single loft bed), 1 living room with 4 single sofa beds, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms with shower.

The apartment is modern, elegant and quiet.

The Rome Colosseum Vacation Rental is located a few steps away from the Colosseum and in the heart of the historical centre of Rome (Colosseum, Golden House, the Roman Forums, San Clemente Basilica, Saint Peter’s in Chains and many more archaeological sites are within walking distance).

Other attractions are easy and fast to reach: Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Navona Square, the Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, etc.

The Vatican area is easy to get by metro or bus (15 minutes).

By the Rome Colosseum Vacation Rental you can find shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, laundry services, etc.

The area is safe and it is efficiently served by public transport: Line A (Manzoni station) and Line B (Colosseo station) of the underground, buses and trams to everywhere.

Stay Here!

We had an amazing stay at this flat—truly the perfect home base for exploring Rome. The location couldn't have been better: just a short walk to the Colosseum and many other iconic sites, plus surrounded by fantastic restaurants and charming cafes. The apartment itself was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.What made this trip especially memorable was our host, Paolo - absolutely the best we've ever had! Incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely kind, he went above and beyond to make sure our experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.We highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again!

Mixed reviews

Paolo was a lovely man and very responsive host. I think that where the accommodation fell short was in our expectations. The photos are no longer accurate as much of the furniture is in poor condition. The faux leather bed frames are cracked and worn. The smaller couch in the living room should be totally replaced. There is a strange odour in the ensuite bathroom, and the bottom drawer in the vanity no longer slides into place. Plates and bowls should be updated.I would heartily recommend Paolo as a host. He arranged our rides to and from the airport, and was helpful in so many big and small ways. Just a wonderful man.

Very nice stay in Rome

The apartment is very close to Colosseum and nearby to restaurants and coffee shops. Paulo is an excellent host and the apartment had all the adequate amenities. The apartment is dated and as with the rest of the ones in the historic district. The elevator is small and can get fit in 2 or 3 people max. If you have bags, be prepared for multiple trips. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are small but adequate. The hot water takes a few mins to arrive, but it eventually does. Overall we enjoyed out stay and Paulo's hospitality. If you are traveling from outside EU, you will need some international adapters for charging your devices. Would be nice if the home had a few.

Just the right distance for us

A return trip to Rome with family (including teens) for 1 week in this location was just right. We were able to find transportation to and from all the major sites; either by wheel, rail, or foot. The layout gives enough space for 3 couples, or in our case, 2 teens plus parents. The kitchen is well equipped and suited our needs. Both washer and dryer worked well. Be prepared for a little learning on these- the dryer is a ductless, in the kitchen; the washer is on the balcony. It sounds like it wouldn’t make sense, but it works and wasn’t a difficult thing to work with. If you’ve never worked with these before, do a little googling before jumping in. We learned the hard way. Food and staples are easy to get from the grocer that is at the corner. Reasonable prices and selection. Check in and out was super simple. Paolo was able to set us up with a very reasonable transport for our early morning FCO flight- you won’t find anything better, just take the offer. Only cons I would say are: the bedroom on the back left (white walls) can get a little noisy at night. Not terrible, but noticeably noisier than the courtyard side rooms (yellow and purple). The bathrooms had a slight odor to them in the morning - after some ventilation fans, it was manageable. These are things that are part of the building, and out of the control of the apartment holder- so we worked with it :) I would recommend, this was a far better experience than the last three trips we had to Rome

Perfect location

The apartment was just as advertised, clean and comfortable. Paolo was wonderful! He arranged our driver from the train station on arrival and to the airport when we checked out. The location was perfect and right down from the Colosseum with stores, a market and plenty of good restaurants nearby. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home

Paolo was so helpful with suggestions on restaurants, tours, maps and the best gelato in Rome. The apartment was beautifully decorated and homey and comfortable. We had 5 people and enjoyed the extra space. We would definitely stay here again. The colosseum was just down the block!

Lovely apartment

Our stay was great. The location was terrific. It was within walking distance of the sights and plenty of restaurants. The bus stop was right in front and easy to negotiate. The apartment was clean and quiet and well stocked. We would recommend the apartment.

Host and location were great.

First - Paulo (the host) was wonderful. He made resturant and travel arrangements for us. Answered all our questions. Second - location was truly within sight of the coliseum. Yet it was in a neighborhood - lots of small restaurants and small shops. Third - the apartment has three bedrooms and two baths which is very large for Rome. I will mention that the bathroom attached to the bedroom is very small by American standards as is the kitchen. Lastly - we wanted to experience Rome like a Roman which this apartment allowed.

The Manager Makes The Difference Here!

A comfortable apartment...very close to the Coliseum...but the difference is the EXCELLENT property manager, Paolo! He defines customer centric service...from pre arrival communication to arranging for airport transfers...to meeting us for an early check in he was one of the best we have encountered - He has a number of apartments...if you don't like this one check out his other options! Close to Colosseum

Our stay at this location was ok. Paolo was very helpful during our stay. The apartment is very old, and several times during our stay there were very strong sewage smells. We needed to keep all the windows open to help keep this down. I would advise the owner of this apartment to put a non-slip coating on the floor of the bigger shower since it becomes very slippery when showering. The elevator is very small and only two people can go up or down at a time; henceforth if you have a large amount of luggage with you it takes quite a while to get it downstairs. Location was pretty far from everything except for the Colosseum.

Fantastic!

Paolo was amazing! He made the whole trip seamless and easy. His tips on where to eat and non tourist spots to see did not disappoint. The apartment was in the perfect spot, within walking distance to many sites and bus stops. We were a family of 6 and had lots of space! The kids loved the lift bedroom. If we are ever back in Rome we will 100% stay here again.

Great location and great host!

Nice and clean, 3 big bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. (Water pressure a little lower but not unexpected. Pretty much everything we needed like spices and coffee etc although we cooked out a lot. A great lift to bring you up and down. A few steps inside the door. Little shampoos and soaps etc.. not too much to buy. Located close to several small stores and a grocery store 1/2 block down. Also several nice restaurants very close within 3/10th of a mile, tops, more if you are willing to go 4/10 of mile the other direction. Eating dinner watching the sun set over the Coliseum was amazing. You can grab the metro or a cab and get across town to the Vatican easily. Paulo was amazing with custom maps with links and suggestions and helped us get taxis anywhere we needed to go. If your lucky you’ll get Max. Have fun!!!
