Alojamiento en Roma cerca del Coliseo y los foros romanos: cerca del monumento más importante de Roma, el Coliseo, está el apartamento Basílica de San Clemente. El apartamento fue completamente renovado de acuerdo con los altos estándares de calidad y estilo elegante y moderno.

El apartamento está ubicado en el primer piso (sin ascensor) de un edificio totalmente renovado. Las ventanas dan a los tribunales internos, por lo que el apartamento es totalmente tranquilo.

El apartamento consta de dos habitaciones dobles independientes, una tercera habitación independiente con tres camas (una doble y una individual o 3 individuales) y dos baños con ducha. El apartamento tiene caja fuerte.

La cocina totalmente equipada cuenta con horno, refrigerador, congelador, lavadora, secadora, lavavajillas, microondas, tostadora, hervidor de agua y todo lo que necesita para cocinar y preparar el desayuno.

El salón tiene un sofá y un televisor LCD de 32 'con decodificador SKY.

En la sala de estar y en las habitaciones hay grandes ventanas que hacen que el apartamento sea luminoso a pesar de estar en el primer piso.

Fuimos tres parejas de amigos del 1 al 3 de Diciembre de 2017. El apartamento super limpio, acogedor y con todo lo necesario para una estancia sin problemas, tal y como indicaba la página web. El trato por parte de Paolo, excepcional, siempre atento a todas nuestras necesidades y preguntas. Además nos aconsejó sobre diferentes restaurantes y cafes. El servicio de taxi puntual y correctisimo. No tenemos ningún reproche ya que nuestra estancia fue muy agradable Gracias por todo!!. Sobre todo como hemos comentado antes a Paolo Marocco.

Stay near the Colosseum

Our stay in Rome was great. Paolo was a fantastic host & very helpful. He helped our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 teens) get a ride from Roma Termini to the apartment since absolutely no one at the taxi stop wanted to help us because we had 5 pieces of luggage & 5 duffel bags. Word of advice: do not stress and take Paolo up on the offer to pick you up if you are a large family such as us. Paolo met us at the entrance and helped us with our bags. The apartment is comfortable & well appointed. The AC is powerful & kept the place nice & cool which was a welcome after exploring Rome in the heat. TV's in every room with multiple channels allowed for us to retreat & watch separate shows if we wanted. The beds were comfy & there are additional linens and pillows if needed. The washing machine was great since our total stay in Italy was 3 weeks and we had to refresh our clothes. Everyone uses a drying rack and its quite quick to dry items. The neighborhood is literally down the street from The Colosseum. That area is a madhouse of people but you are so close to so many historical places that it is mind blowing. Towards the end of our stay we started going to the righ out the door instead of left. You'll find a wonderful neighborhood with an Egyptian Obelisk & quaint bars & restaurants on Merulana street. Its a lovely tree-lined area & has a Conad grocery store with everything you need to make a great meal. Bus 85 passes right in front & can take you into the city center. Research it.

Amazing stay and host!

Paolo was so kind to our whole group. He let us check in early which was super helpful so we didn’t have to haul our bags around Rome all day. He gave us really good food recommendations, since he is a local, which ended up being the best restaurants we went to in Rome. The VRBO is in a really good location, about an 8 minute walk to the colloseum. I would definitely stay here again if I were to go back to Rome, I would recommend this home and host to anybody planning on traveling to Rome!

Don’t book through VRBO

We had to wash all the dishes before we could use anything. The floor was filthy with a sticky residue. The shower doors are broken. Even one of the flushing buttons on the toilet is broken. It still flushes but with the weaker flush. The air conditioner works but leaves the apartment feeling slightly damp. Everything feels wet. Towels sheets furniture. But the most upsetting thing to me is that the host asks for the tourist tax in CASH on the day of arrival. We have traveled Italy from one end to the other and this is the Only property where the tax was not included in the price. I blame VRBO for letting this happen as the whole point in booking through them is to avoid this type of thing. I reached out to them and was only able to avoid paying the additional fee in cash. VRBO invoiced me the day before I checked in. You think you are paid in full and ready to check in on your trip, think again. Don’t book through VRBO.

Wir haben diese Wohnung fürs eine viertägige Städtereise genutzt. Die Lage ist wirklich hervorragend. In wenigen Minuten beim Colloseo und Foro Romano. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung sind alle möglichen Restaurants. Der Vermieter war sowohl beim Check-in als auch Check-out persönlich anwesend und hat mit viel Engagement alles nötige erklärt, viele Tipps gegeben und war auch während des Aufenthaltes immer ansprechbar. Das war wirklich außergewöhnlich. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war eher durchschnittlich, die Küche bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen und mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Die Bäder originell und mit Altbau-Charme. Wir würden die Wohnung insbesondere wegen Lage und Verbindlichkeit des Vermieters empfehlen.

Convenient location and helpful/informative host

Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights near the Christmas holidays. Paolo was very helpful booking us a car from the airport and checking us into the apartment. We especially enjoyed his recommendations for gelato and restaurants in the neighborhood. The apartment is a short (5-10 minute) walk up a one way street from the Colosseum and has has several cafes, shops, and restaurants close by. The apartment itself is on the 2nd floor of a quiet building. Overall we found the apartment met our needs as most of our time was spent sightseeing in the city. A few things to note: 1 shower is small and oriented such that you must use the handheld shower wand - otherwise water will spill out onto the floor, which could be challenging for larger or less mobile people. The common living area is also the combined kitchen, dining area, and living/tv room which has seating either at the dining table or on the couch. Finally, the street out front can get somewhat congested during commuting hours, especially the afternoon, so you should plan ahead for ordering taxis or rideshares.

Excellent Location

We only had a day to explore Rome, so focused on the Forum and Colosseum. This apartment was easy walking distance to the Colosseum. In fact we could see it 3 blocks down at the end of our street. Added benefits were the gelato shops, 2 small grocery stores, and excellent restaurants along the way. Parking was a little bit of an issue, but our host met us with helpful tips on how to handle it. Using our GPS, we found driving in and out of the center to be fairly easy. This is a great and quiet place for a family to stay in the tourist center of Rome.

Great Location

Spacious apartment. There were only 3 of us but the 3 bedrooms were really spacious and would accomodate at least 6 people plus more on folding beds. However for the larger number of people, the living area/kitchen would be too small - perfect for the 3 of us though. Excellent location within a few minutes walk of the Colosseum and a number of excellent restaurants. Great place for a weekend break and Paolo was very helpful.

Fantastic location

This property is in a fantastic location with the colosseum in view outside the front door. Lots of really great restaurants that are reasonably priced. All the tourist attractions are within walking distance or there is always public transport which was easy to navigate. Paolo is a great host from start to finish. He organised taxi to pick us up and go back to the airport. He gave us lots of local knowledge of where places were. From start to finish he made it so smooth and easy for our stay. Amazing location for Rome Vacation!

My 2 children, parents, husband and I stayed at Paolo’s property during our stay in Rome. Before our arrival, Paolo emailed me a list of suggested restaurants, markets, advice on how to get around and even tips for site seeing. We visited many of the restaurants he suggested which were not only in close proximity to our apartment, but were absolutely amazing! The apartment itself is in the absolute best location! From the front door, you can see the Colosseum! There are many restaurants, shops, Gelaterie, and bars within walking distance. The apartment has 3 great sized bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, all the amenities of home, and was quite comfortable for 4 adults, a teenager, and a child. It was clean, cool, and the washer/dryer was an added bonus! If traveling to Rome again, I would absolutely stay here again! 10/10!

Charming Rome Apartment for Extended Stay

The property is ideally situated on a quiet street that is close to the Colosseum and two Metro stops. The property provided ample privacy for my parents and my family of five. The property manager provided excellent dining recommendations and even made dinner reservations on our behalf. Really this experience cannot be topped. Highly recommended for families and friend groups visiting Rome.
