    How to reach the penthouse from Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
    There are several options for conveniently reaching our penthouse from the airport:
    * By train and tram (recommended for its good value):
    * Fiumicino - Roma Trastevere Train: Take the train from Fiumicino Airport towards Roma Trastevere. Trains depart every 20 minutes, the journey takes approximately 26 minutes, and the fare is €8.00. Trastevere is the seventh stop. You can check the updated timetable on the railway website.
    * Tram from Roma Trastevere: Exit the Trastevere station, cross the main road and take Tram number 8 (towards Casaletto), which is located in the center lane. The fare is €1.50.
    * Arrival: Get off at the fourth stop, Piazza S. Giovanni di Dio (about 10 minutes, the tram runs every 5 minutes). Via Ferdinando Palasciano will be right in front of you, with the local market behind you.
    * By taxi: You can take a taxi directly outside the airport arrivals gate.
    * Private chauffeur service: Upon request, we can provide you with the contact information of a trusted private chauffeur for a more comfortable and personalized transfer.

Wonderful place to stay with kids

We loved the apartment. We enjoyed relaxing and eating at the local restaurants. The sun-drenched rooms are beautiful. And the owner is very responsive if you need her!

We felt very cozy and at home during our stay here! Mornings on the balcony and nights recharging in the ample family space and bedrooms made this the perfect home base for our adventures. And our host provided helpful communication to make sure we were accommodated

Monteverde neighborhood a plus!

Loved this neighborhood and apartment. So much character! Everything was comfortable and close to public transportation. And so nice to have a respite from the tourist throngs.

This location was as advertised. Cinzia was a gracious host and made sure that we were okay from check-in through check-out. The apartment was clean, comfortable, safe, had the basic amenities and was conveniently located close to public transportation. We would definitely stay again!

Spacious and stylish penthouse with lovely terrace

Cinzia was a good host, very helpful with the arrival and checking in. The apartment is very comfortable as well as spacious and the lovely roof terrace was pleasant and cool. The tram is very close and will take you to Piazza Venezia. We really enjoyed our stay. x

Absolutly charming, comfortable , and beautiful accomidations in the middle of a fasionable neighborhood close to everything that might be of interest but far enough away from the toutest trade to feel like an authentic Italian neigborhood. Uncle and two nepheus

Heaven. For all of us. Very comfortable. We both ate out and cooked in. We used the outdoor garden deck to both eat in and lounge and ocasionally get away from one another. It was trully a wonderful place. Recomend higly. We’ll be back.

Wonderful

Loved staying out of the city centre. The apartment was eclectic and perfect. Interesting neighbourhood. So glad we stayed here. AC fantastic and there is a lift. Cinzia was extremely responsive and made our trip so much easier. h Highly recommend. A quick trip on the #8 bus and you are downtown. Thank you so much!

Gianicolense stay

The apartment is spacious and about 20 minutes by tramway to the Vittorio Emmanuel area. It was clean and has everything needed for a short stay. There were several small trattorias nearby as well as cafes. The apartment is beautiful but need a bit of refreshing. Use public transportation because walking to the historical area takes 1 hr plus.

A little far out but 1 minute walk to tram so no problem. Good neighborhood, secure. Spotless. Lots of space. Large bright kitchen. The patio is a real gem. Only downside is the shower badly needs upgraded. Cinzia is easily reached and very helpful. Would stay here again

A fabulous green oasis above the roofs of Rome

We had an amazing time. The 'flower' penthouse apartment above the rooftops of Rome is indeed a green oasis and a place of tranquility in the midst of a bustling and vibrant city. Cinzia is a most generous host - she had offered to pick us up from the Rome airport. But since we arrived with our own rental car she gave us her parking spot. Gorgeous apartment

The apartment is beautifully decorated with antiques and vintage furnishings. We especially enjoyed the terrace where we could relax with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. It was away from the city center which we appreciated and found an outstanding local restaurant that we returned to twice. There is now an elevator which is great for being on the 4th floor. Unfortunately the tram was not operating while we were there due to construction on the rails but we fared ok with taxis. Cinzia was a wonderful host, checking in with us regularly and answering all our questions before and during our trip.

Relaxing homebase to explore Rome!

Great apartment, beautiful terrace, and easy access to the center via the 8Bus. The market at Piazza San Giovanni di Dio is open most mornings & has everything you could need. We had small difficulty using the keys and some of the outlets, but Cinzia was available via WhatsApp to assist. Note that the second bedroom has a kid's loft bed & a single cot below - a little bit of a strange set up with no bedside light or outlet, but all together a great stay and would absolutely return.

Great weekend getaway

My family ended our Italian vacation with a weekend in Rome. This place was very nice and away from the crowds in a quiet neighborhood. There was a few nice spots to eat in the neighborhood, including a place that the host, Cinzia, helped reserve for us. We had a rental car, which was a little stressful to try to find parking. We probably would have opted to get a reservation at a garage if we did it again. The terrace at the place is very lovely, although we did not get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked because it was quite buggy out there even with mosquito spray. It was all worth it though, as the place was very unique and our host was very lovely and went out of her way to make sure we had a good stay. She was very responsive to our questions as well.

Un formidable oasis près de tout.

Nous sommes restés 2 semaines dans ce très bel appartement très bien situé, loin de la cohue mais près de tout. C'est très tranquille mais à deux minutes du tram qui nous amène directement dans le centre historique, Piazza Venezia. La terrasse est charmante et le salon et la salle à manger sont très bien aménagés. Nous y avons passé de belles soirées lorsque le temps était plus frais (séjour fin avril). La chambre et le lit sont très confortables. Notre hôte est très disponible et d'une aide précieuse, autant pour nous informer sur le voisinage que pour nous assurer des services du chauffeur pour le trajet aller-retour vers l'aéroport. Si nous revenons à Rome, nous contacterons Cinzia et voudrons revenir dans son appartement. Merci. Arrivederci. Jacqueline et Michel

Sehr schön

Man muss die vorangegangenen Bewertungen nicht unbedingt wiederholen, denn sie passen voll und ganz. Herauszuheben sind wirklich der fantastische Charme der Wohnung, der tägliche Markt in Laufweite, den man unbedingt regelmäßig aufsuchen sollte und die tolle Terrasse, bei der man abends zur Ruhe kommend sogar Zikaden lauschen kann. Die Lage war für uns so entscheidend, weil wir wirklich nicht im touristischen Zentrum wohnen wollten, sondern eher unter Einheimischen. Berichtigen muss man, dass es inzwischen wirklich einen Aufzug gibt und man die über 80 Stufen nicht mehr laufen muss. Dieser ist allerdings sehr klein, dass bei einer Traglast von 180kg nur max. 2 Personen fahren können, die keine körperliche Nähe untereinander scheuen sollten. Danke an Cinzia, die bei Fragen immer erreichbar war und auch aus der Entfernung uns helfend zur Seite stand.

An Exceptional Flower Penthouse

A beautiful cozy apartment in a quite and safe neighborhood . Property entrance was lovely and had the convenience of an elevator to carry luggage to the 4th floor. I had read previously the door was a little difficult to open which is accurate but after a couple of attempts I got the hang of it. Upon entry into the apartment we were delighted to find it was more beautiful than the pictures portray! You can tell the furniture pieces were selected with love and the curtains add the perfect morning and evening glow. Kitchen contained everything needed for cooking and all the windows brought the outside indoors. We only used the master bedroom which was comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed the sitting area and wardrobe to lay out all our belongings. The desk was convenient to take care of some business and journaling. An adapter was also provided for use. A previous post stated the bathroom needed to be updated but it was perfectly suitable for all needs and the tub was enjoyable for a cool bubble bath after a long day of sightseeing. Cinzia was easy to contact and responded to all questions. She was extremely gracious in giving us extra time for a late check out. She was kind and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Property is conveniently located to the bus line, grocery store, restaurants, gelato, and market. A short ride to Trastevere neighborhood. No regrets about this property.

Beautiful Space But Undisclosed Information

My friends and I really wanted to love this apartment. The space is beautiful and beautifully decorated. But, there were too many aspects of the stay that came as a surprise for us to full enjoy it. The host sent a message the day before we were supposed to check in jam packed with information. This was very overwhelming since my group was already traveling. On top of that, we felt that most if not all of the information in the message should've been advertised in the listing. For example, there is only AC in the living room, kitchen, and room with the king sized bed. There is no AC unit in the room with the twin sized beds, nor a door for that matter. Also, when we asked the host about using the pull out bed in the living room, she said that was "only for emergencies" and reinstated that the stay is only for 4. We answered, yes the stay is for 4, but we booked it because we all wanted a bed to ourselves. I still don't understand why she would advertise a bed to be used then discourage us from using it. There's also certain appliances that can't be used simultaneously due to electricity caps. This made it hard to fully enjoy all of the listed accommodations, because if we wanted to use the oven, we couldn't use the AC, and we stayed in Rome during a very hot week. There is also a tourist tax, which isn't uncommon, but I just don't understand why it wasn't addressed in the listing. Overall, my friends and I would not have booked this stay if we'd known all of this beforehand.
