The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! The rooms were very clean and up to date. There was also a wonderful diner right in front of the property! I would absolutely stay again!

The Rocky Mount Motel was an unexpected surprise. It was chic and thoughtfully renovated with a big city aesthetic without a big city price. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

He’s fine very clean love the way the rooms were redone. Grateful for the refrigerator in the microwave. Love the Desk and the ability to set up my computer and have a place to work. The best were very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious. Really appreciated the quietness. I really enjoy being able to park right in front of my room. That’s a really nice comfort. The gentleman at the Desk was very kind. They kept the parking lot clean and the leaves blown away. They even had chairs outside our door for us to sit on. Very, very nice and very reasonable.

When you arrive at the motel, your first impression is what was I thinking. The outside is not an indicator of the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are very nice inside and i'm a very picky traveler. Beds were very nice. Actually, the whole experience inside was wonderful. Nice little cafe next door to get food. I would spend the night there again.

The parking was a bit difficult as there were three or four rooms bunched together on a corner. Also the parking lot is in bad shape. From the outside it is all rather decrepit looking and I was almost hesitant to go into the office. But inside the office all was nice and the man on duty was very pleasant and helpful. The the room seemed to be recently refurbished and it was very clean. Bottom sheets are not "fitted" and they slipped and slid on the plastic lining between the sheet and mattress, but again, it was all very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. No trash can in the bathroom--that would have been helpful. The lighting could have been better. Overall, though, it was all quite adequate and I would stay there again.

The room was as shown in the photos. Clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The Motel though was decrepit on the outside. No one in reception. they had to make a photocopy of my driver's license to let me in. NO water glass or cup in the room. Expedia totally misled on this booking.

This place was unexpectedly awesome for me. Nothing fancy from the outside; but just what I needed on the inside. It was very well taken care of; and the people who run it were very pleasant to deal with. If you plan to have pizza and lots of celebratory food, take a large garbage bag. When you are in your room, put the lock on. Bring your own Do Not Disturb sign if you want. Otherwise, I was left alone; and I had everything I needed. I loved the stay.

We travel with two dogs and a service dog. I called this motel on the day I was booking our room. I made arrangements prior to booking with the motel for the 2 dogs and my service dog. Upon arrival the desk clerk wanted proof that my service dog was certified, something that does not exist. I offered to give the clerk a copy of the ADA guidelines but instead he wanted me to pay cash for the dog deposit for the other 2 dogs and if I paid cash he would give me a discount. He did not provide a receipt for the room payment or the dog deposit. When I requested a receipt I only received a receipt for the room. The clerk was extremely shady in my opinion. I will never stay in that motel again. We did not enjoy the stay . The room was clean but the beds were wrapped in a layer of plastic, not a mattress protector but sheet plastic. There was no fitted sheet and several times throughout the night we each found ourselves laying on plastic that was sticking to our skin. There was a comforter sandwiched between 2 other flat sheets, none of which were comfortable to sleep under. There was no place to hang clothes or to place your items. Mostly I would not want a single woman traveling alone to stay at this motel. I was traveling with my daughter and her two dogs but I would not let her go out of the room alone. It was not a safe place in my opinion.

The staff was so kind and friendly. Very professional and accommodating. The room was completely remodeled. The room was very clean and smelled nice. I would definitely recommend a stay at this Motel. They were excellent with everything.
