Nuestro apartamento es un espacio encantador, soleado y recientemente renovado. El apartamento está en el segundo piso de un edificio histórico ubicado en el corazón de Bearskin Neck. No tenemos estacionamiento, pero tenemos varios lugares recomendados para estacionar en la calle. Nuestro apartamento estará equipado con algunos artículos de confort como sábanas, toallas y artículos de tocador básicos en función del número de huéspedes en su reserva. Tenemos un balcón muy pequeño que da a algunas tiendas en el cuello de piel de oso y vistas de White Wharf.

Hay wifi y un televisor inteligente con Netflix, películas de Amazon Prime, etc.

Estamos a pocos pasos del océano, excelentes restaurantes y galerías de arte y tiendas de Rockports. Front Beach, Old Garden Beach y Back Beach se encuentran a poca distancia. El centro de interpretación Shalin Liu está aquí si quieres escuchar buena música.

Ven a disfrutar de esta hermosa parte del mundo y caminar a todo!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! My kids already asked me if we can go back next year and stay in the same place. Everything was clean, the apartment is absolutely beautiful. The location is fantastic because it’s right down the street from a great beach and when you go out the door, you are right in the middle of all the beautiful little shops.My 15-year-old daughter thank me numerous times for bringing them there.

Right on Bearskin Neck but not on the main drag, quiet at night (mid May).

It was tricky to have to wait for the door to unlock itself and finding the place in the pouring rain at night didn't help (you can't hear the lock mechanism unlocking in the rain). The numbers on the outside of the house need clarification. Place very cute, very clean and comfortable except mattresses need an update.

Wonderful Location!

Great place to stay! Tons of character and charm. Surrounded by restaurants, little shops, and history. Full kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and a wonderful little porch to gaze upon the sites. Bathroom is a bit small for the larger people out there, but we made it work just fine. Also, if you have any mobility issues, when I say that this place retains it's original character, it has uneven flooring and lots of little ridges which make it an adventure at night. These aren't knocks on the accommodations, just helpful advice. I highly recommend this location. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

If you like the charm of historic properties and being in the middle of it all, this is the property for you. Parking is offsite and typically a 4 min walk. We enjoyed being right on Bearskin Neck, close to shops, restaurants, coffee shops. Thanks Matt!

First Time Visit

The accommodations are lovely if you appreciate an old building. I did. It has character, clean and a little on a slant. Had several laughs about the slanting floor :) I imaging the building is at least 100 years old. Stairs are a little challenging if you have any dexterity issues. No onsite parking was not disclosed in any research, did not know this until getting check in instructions. Area is beautiful.

As for feedback I never got a checkout email, I have no idea what was expected. Towel situation needs to be addressed, the towels should either be replaced or enough to last a family for a week. We had 4 total towels for 6 nights with 4 people. There is no way possible to keep the floor dry while taking a shower, I’m not the biggest man as I am average size and could barely fit in shower let alone get clean.

Absolutely wonderful!!

Bear skin neck is such a charming place!!! We came from Texas and I had no idea when booking just how quaint the town is with all of the shops! And this place is in the heart of the retail area in walking distance to everything. This was my favorite vacation stay ever! Would definitely recommend staying here. The photos of the place should be updated because the bedding and couches have been updated. Would definitely stay here again.

Matt. The outside door does not lock. The combination lock was working but it wasn’t connecting somehow with the door jamb and would not lock. The upstairs lock to the apartment was fine. It was working on Thursday and Friday but not Saturday and today so the outside door isn’t locked

The PERFECT vacation rental

The absolute perfect vacation rental, we just returned from such a memorable stay here! The condo is immaculate, spotlessly clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, filled to the brim with historic charm and has every comfort of home. The location cannot be beat, perfectly situated in the heart of Bearskin Neck, the quaintest little sea village. In our opinion the best location in all of Rockport. A short beautiful walk to the beach, a step out the front door brings you to the most picturesque water front locations, Motif #1, quaint shops, ice cream, coffee, restaurants... you are surrounded by old-world beauty at ever turn. In the evening the town is peaceful and quiet - open the windows and enjoy the most magnificent sleep with the sea air coming through ! When returning to Rockport, this is the place my family and I will stay without question. If you are planning a stay in Rockport, make this your rental - you will be overjoyed that you did, we sure are! Enjoy!!!

Fantastic winter stay in Rockport/Bearskin Neck

We enjoyed every moment of our stay in the Captain's Quarters. The apartment in this 300 year old (!) colonial building is the perfect blend of antique charm with all the modern comforts and amenities you could want. Summers in Rockport are fun with the bustling crowds, but the middle of winter is a really special time to visit Bearskin Neck. It's peaceful and calm and you almost feel like a local when you drop into the cozy restaurants and coffee shops. We'll definitely rent this place again. Thanks for a great experience!

Charming old sail loft in fantastic location

If you love Rockport but can't stand the crowds, I would thoroughly recommend visiting in winter. This property is in the heart of Bearskin Neck and is so cute, the pictures don't really do it justice. As with any old property there are compromises - the shower is the smallest I've ever seen, but it functions well. No compromise with the heating as we were super cozy and there were plenty of extra blankets if required. It would have been good to have had a few more cooking utensils, such as oven mitts and dish cloths, but there was enough to manage a basic dinner. Owner was very quick and helpful in responding to questions. Overall, a beautiful property in a stunning location.
